I think the hallmark of the Stratz Way is to pick "off-meta builds" wherever I go. You know, something that's good, but not top-tier. I WILL use "good" builds from time to time, like maybe picking a Metal character on a Wild Wiggler, but what's my main build? Tanooki Mario on a Teddy Buggy, of all things. And eventually Dry Bowser on an Inkstriker, if the game would just GIVE ME THE INKSTRIKER ALREADY-
