World Friend Star : Winning back to back to back D1 titles is a really big deal obviously. And they are (and should be) everyone's favorite to get the win. With Roks now back in wf1, they now have 5 players who were in the WOR selection this year. Add Mars, who for me is the reason why wf click together so well, and you've got quite a line-up. First couple of weeks might be shaky, as they've just started to scrim Monday, after a month pause (didn't even play Double Down), that's why I can see them dropping a game in the early stages of the regular season.

High Definition : After a pretty bad season (for HD standards I'd say) and a 4th place in Double Down, they picked up Manster from EU, but lost Rookie for their 2nd roster. While on the individual level, this looks like a major up, I considered Rookie as the reason why HD works, enabling the likes of Cynda or James to do what they thrive in : making sure their team hits that 492 points barrier at the end of the match. Seeing how Manster played in EU, I expect Zebe to take Rookie's role and Chibi/their 6th man (Soldier, Nick, Miguel, Dugo) to back him up. I currently don't see them as serious title contenders, but if everything clicks together when playoffs starts, they could give the top dogs a run for their money.

Novae : The curveball of this division, their season could go really anywhere. Looking at their top LU, I really get that RK S7 kind of vibe, with Sebas/Angel/Millan/Drack/Roberto. The real question mark for me is their 6th player. Will they opt for a Miffy, or will they trust a less individually skilled player who will be more focused on pack/bot spots/comm like Luisao, Engel etc... They showed some promising results, but they will need that consistency to get a playoff spot, and they will need it fast.

Jean-Pierre Pernaut : No one should sleep on this team. While I do agree their chances of making it to playoffs are small with how stacked this D1 is, they're in no way a team you could consider a « free win ». If you don't play your A game vs them, they will smash you into the ground with the likes of Falso, LMDS or Xray, backed up by Hamano, Bowen, Gab or Crunchy.

Requiem : If any team can beat wf this season, it's gotta be Re ; . The massive pickups in the off-season (Power, Daxx, Saru, Tricky) paired with the likes of Dayem/Nitro/Ro'/Toad/Lez' gives the team a really good depth, showed by their Double Down victory, with Nitro/Ro' not playing a single match. They're my clear favorites for this conference, and their W4 matchup vs wf star will show us if this team really have a good chance of taking the crown.

Xi : xi showed in Double Down that, even after Strike/Joel/Vantox ban hitting hard their roster depth, they're still a clear top D1 team, getting that spot in grand finals after beating Prestige. If Despair finds his spot in the line-up, they will make playoffs, but their roster depth might hurt them in the regular season, hence why I have them in 2nd

Nferno : NFO's top LU is really good, with the likes of Kay/Toa/Lezard/Denno/Yoshi/Waenot. However, I don't see them making playoffs sadly, as their roster depth isn't the best, and I think wf/Re ;/xi/HD's top LUs are still better than NFO's. Still, they're in no way a team you should 100% count out.

Arcadia : This season might be another hard one for ARC Sky. To me, they're in the same spot as NFO/JPP, with low chances of making playoff, and will probably finish the season in the 2-8/4-6 range. Their top LU individual level isn't the greatest, no really big names apart from John, but their team synergy is what makes this team hard to manoeuver

Division 2

Conference A

Sc (8-2)
EU (5-5)
wf (5-5)
iF (1-9)

Conference B

BL (7-3)
MT (7-3)
DY (5-5)
Soul (2-8)

Sc 2-0 EU
BL 2-1 MT

Sc 2-1 BL

Star Clan : After a bad season in D1, Sc have a good shot at taking the D2 table and get back to D1 next season. Their top LU can rival some of the D1 lower seeds, and is probably the best you will find in D2, as well as the experience playing together for some time now, will help them a lot in this D2.

Euphroya Osiris : EU is (obviously) in a really weird state right now, after losing Brye/Manster/Luisao. I think they will need some matches to find a good way to play together, because their scrims are not looking really good right now. I still think they will figure it out before end of regular season, and they will make playoffs

World Friend Moon : After an horrible Double Down getting out in top 32 (mainly due to a non-optimal line-up in the first match), wf moon lost Starlow to wf star, but got Linkos from their first roster. While I do think this trade will hurt them, as Linkos will need some time to build that synergy with his new teammates, their top LU is still good for D2. However, as Double Down showed us, their roster depth isn't the best, and I think that will hurt them in the regular season, hence why I give the edge to EU for the playoff spot.

Inflow : I don't see them perform that well in D2, while they have a pretty good top 3 wtih Alpaco/Wisch/Tynan, I think the rest of the LU will struggle in a packed D2.

Mushroom Team : Good team all around the place, the addition of Juls makes them a clear title contender

Banana Legion : This team could rival Sc/MT, with the pickups of Dragon/Brye paired with Royal/Aplex/Onim/Ruby, this can be a D2 winning LU. I currently have them slightly below Sc/MT, as those pickups will probably take some time to create the team synergy they will need to win D2.

Dynamite : This is one of the few teams that didn't get any pickups in the off-season, this fact obviously makes them drop some spots in the power ranking in D2, but it's still a team that could with their top LU, the best teams of the division. I'm just not sure if their roster depth is enough to get into playoffs.

Soul : D3 winners, got Nyx/ApG/Gaelounet, pair them will Articuno/Jasmine/Perishi, and you have a pretty good LU. I just don't think they have the roster depth, and that top LU might not even be enough to carry them to playoffs.

Division 3

Conference A

HD (9-1)
Re (6-4)
ARC (4-6)
DR (1-9)

Conference B

mw (8-2)
NR (6-4)
YF (5-5)
VA (1-9)

HD 2-0 Re
mw 2-1 NR

HD 2-1 mw

HDolino : Anything but finals would be a massive throw for HD2, with a Rookie/Sketch/Bryce/Aero/Blaze +1 LU. Their worst enemy is probably themselves, and their players' availability to play matches, but I think this top LU will win D3.

Resemblance : Definitly able to grab a playoff spot if they can get their top LU most of the matches, shouldn't be slept on

Arcadia Terra : Losing gdin will hurt them, as well as 6ran not being able to play in some matches + their depth isn't the best really. Also, they have Mikkel Duncan Levine-Aalto so yeah

Drift Riders : Think that will overall be a pretty hard season for DR, Ronan/Spudd/Asznee will need to do miracles to get that team a chance of making it into playoffs

Midnight Wasps : After a decieving last season, they suddenly improved while only adding Ryou, and are now looking like one of the few teams that could rival HD2.

Nasty Raid : NR's main problem is probably their roster depth, and their overall inconsistencies. If the roster clicks together, they could be a title contender, but right now I see them as a top 4 team.

Yoshi Family : D4 winners last season, they got good adds in the off-season with CK and Starmyz. They could possibly make playoffs, but they will need that consistency and not dropping games vs teams below them will be mandatory.

Valyria : wild card of this div for me. I don't really see them as a playoff contender, but I don't think they should be considered as an « easy win » with their players.

Welcome back to the 11th season of the Mario Kart Hockey League (MKHL). Last year the analyst desk was not able to perform predictions and that’s our sincerest apologies. Even though this season is in the bubble due to COVID and will be hosted in Paris, we have the highest number of teams ever. As usual, we’ll jump right into the predictions.

Division 1

Conference A
World Friend Star (2)
High Definition (WC1)
NOVAE (5)
Jean-Pierre Pernaut (8)

Conference B
Requiem (1)
The Baltimore Basculin (4)
Arcadia Sky (6)
Nferno Blaze (7)

Semi-finals:
Re 2-0 xi
HD 1-2 ώƒ

Finals:
Re 2-1 ώƒ

MVP: Æ☆ Sebas [100.8]

For conference A I have the three-time defending champs bringing out the conference win during the season. Don’t really need to talk about this roster, everyone knows it by now. The notable addition to the roster is Roks, however, who was cleared to enter the bubble after testing negative for COVID before the deadline and after the deadline. It was a controversial decision according to the health and safety committee but the league commissions cleared him to be able to play. Follow that with the usual Pyrax (last year's Rocket Richard winner) / Swift (Last year Conn Smythe Winner) / Flowx / Valer and Thomas packing heat to end up the LU. I’m expecting captain Mars over one of these 6 though especially since Valer has load management concerns. The depth is there too in Starlow / Theo / Lanfi, there is no weak link to this roster and definitely can show why it has 3 titles. In 2nd I have High Definition. Again this is an extremely technically talented team like wf and has gotten a nice buff in Manster too. There have been some organizational changes in the team so it will be interesting to see how it works out but the paper looks fire. Cynda / Chibi / James / Manster / Zebe +1 (Nick / Dugo / Soldier / Sergio Ramos) is what I’m expecting to see. Not sure quite how this call will mesh yet but the teams been practicing a lot so I assume they’ve worked on that and are more than ready to go and this is a roster talented enough to push for the title no doubt and have been practicing a lot more than World Friend Star. 3rd I have NOVAE. This is the most interesting case for me. For the first time in a while, I strongly feel we have a really big skill gap within the division (wf / HD / Re / xi than ARC / NFO / JPP) but AE is kinda on the fence not sure what side they will hop onto yet.

Jeff Bezos’ bought the team for the memes with 1 minute of his workday and just bought a bunch of players to completely replace the lineup pretty much. It hurts he puts more care into this than his own employees. Additions in the off-season including Sebas, Angel, and Drack from prestige, Luisao from EU, Millan, and Roberto (ESP) from retirement itching to get back on the ice. You could see potentially an entirely new lineup on the ice although I assume Engel and Alejandro will be playing still. There’s also the wild card of Miffy to be pulled out. The fan base is torn atm as many people bought jersey and merchandise of their favourite players and now, they will be irrelevant with an entirely new roster. But hey, a ring would be a ring, right? This new roster has had good scrim results against other teams in the division so we’ll see which side of the fence they will land but I’m keeping them behind what I see as the “four titans” for now.

This leaves JPP last in the conference. The loss of Saru hurts but Xray is back from his UCL tear after missing a couple of seasons and looks to be in full health so that is huge for the team. This will be a rough season but I’m expecting a couple wins still, the talent in this division is just at an all-time high. LMDS / Falso / Xray / Hamano / Bowen / Crunchy is what I’m expecting to be pulled out. With the move-ups JPP has filled out the back end of the lineup nicely and has provided a bit of depth relief which they did not have last season, I really liked these moves a lot.

Moving onto conference B I have Requiem in the first place. Requiem is another team that has a way better roster than last season. Dayem / Power / Nitroco / Daxx / Saru / Tricky for example. The depth on this team is unmatched too. JB / Lez / Ro’ / Toad / Impo all people that could easily play as well. There’s no such thing as a “weak day” for Re and honestly, this roster looks really busted. It goes undetected, but Emmanuel Besnier has taken over ownership of the team and this is why all these players could be afforded as luxury tax is pocket change for this man. 2nd place I have The Baltimore Basculin, also known as 20 other names at this point. This is an interesting team as they have a solid OG core of 3/4 people they use in MKU and cycle 3 WOR type-level players every season on one-year contracts hoping it meshes for a ring. This plan hasn’t worked out yet but this is looking like the best opportunity so far, it’s just a shame the league overall is so stacked this season I don’t think it will be enough. Strike being denied entry to the bubble due to testing positive for COVID doesn’t help but the “6th man” worry isn’t a problem after the pickup of Izaya and even bagged up Logic as well so add to the depth. Nato / Zinc / Robel / Xander / Izaya / Tyler is what I’m expecting to see as the main line-up. Lots of winners in this roster so maybe that was the missing recipe that will finally complete the quest for the ring. In the third I have Arcadia Sky. Nothing much has changed here. Slater opted out of the bubble to pursue more important things. Tomsu is back from the military stint, and Gerald “gdin” dinner was given the promotion to team 1. With that you have the usual Monfi / Ricke / Ace Tman / Brandon / Corazon / Teeples. Going up against the titans will most likely be a rough experience and the team has been underperforming in the bubble practice games so if it doesn’t click for the season last in the conference is looking like a solid candidate. This team has forced many close losses with the big teams in the past but dubs the only mode is what matters so close losses won’t cut it. In last I have Nferno Blaze (last season’s Calder Cup winners). Again like ARC, these teams still solid and has veteran presence, it’s just the league is too talented at the moment. I see ARC and NFO as equal strength so which order they finish could be either but I had to give the knock to my boys. Kay / Lezard / Toa / Waenot / Yoshi / Denno is what I’m expecting most of the time. Paul and Aspio as the subs. This is a very balanced roster (like all in D1 at this point) but the raw talent falls a bit short like it does for the other teams outside the top 4.

For the playoffs, I have World Friend Star beating HD 2-1 to make the finals in a close series. The other semi-final I have Requiem sweeping The Baltimore Boys 2-0. Re’s roster is just insane and has way more depth pieces at their disposal to xi’s and this will be a difference-maker. The players in Re have also played with each other a lot more over the course of the game than a lot of xi’s roster as well. For the finals, I have Requiem taking out World Friend Star 2-1. I believe it’s the season that will end wf’s reign but France will still be kings. I don’t feel like I need to explain myself but I just think Re’s roster is the best overall. For the MVP I have Sebas. The top 4 teams I feel have too many players that will take points from each other but Sebas is a small step ahead of his mates on NOVAE and players on the bottom 3 teams I put will have a harder time getting higher scores as a team against the top 4 than NOVAE so it seems like the most logical decision to me.

Division 2

Conference A:

Star Clan Nebula (2)
Euphorya Osiris (WC2)
World Friend Moon (5)
Inflow (6)

Conference B:
Banana Legion (1)
Mushroom Team Soul (WC1)
Soul (7)
Dynamite Alpha (8)

Semi-Finals:
BL 2-0 EU
S¢ 2-0 [MT]

Finals:
BL 2-1 S¢

MVP: BL ruby [102.5]

Starting with Conference A I have Star Clan Nebula first. After a disappointing season in division 1 last season, they are thirsty to win the Calder and make their way back up. The rosters had a bit of change too. Most notably, Nyx is no longer on the roster. Insider sources have said that this change has actually made the locker room a healthier place moving forwards which is important. Skye / Marlonwest / Mike / Rylan / xNts +1 is what I’m expecting. The option to use Japanese players always on the down-low as well. Lots of running games here to work around with. I have Euphorya Orisis in 2nd and taking the last playoff spot. EU has a very interesting off-season, to say the least. After an unexpected Stanley cup final appearance, the team tried a new marketing strategy of having the team blow and up and giving everyone a quick taste of their members just to come back together but lost three of their best players out of it for literally no reason which backfired hugely. The fans are demanding that the owner of the team gets fired for letting 3 players walk away but nothing has been done yet. The lineup is still solid though for this division with something like: Frogger (last years Norris Trophy winner) / Luigeon recruitment / suo / Spyke / Thinsky / Zorro. Some decent depth options too that played actively on their second squad last season as well. In third I have World Friend Moon. The loss of Starlow will hurt but They got Linkos in return which helps the loss a bit but still a downgrade. Elie / Flaco / Linkos / Sparks / Zakaria +1 is what I’m expecting to see. These teams been practicing a solid amount (I feel like all D2 has though), I just see this roster being top 3 in this division (I could see it ahead of EU though for the last playoff spot). I get the impression some of the rosters rides off World Friend Star’s success as their own so with how good the league is this season; I’d like their money to be put where the mouth is. In the last place, I have Inflow, I was told I would be fired by the press company if I used their actual name as it’s so terrible, my apologies. Seems harsh to put this roster last in the conference especially with the addition of Tynan, but I can easily say that this is the best division 2 MK8DX has ever seen and it’s not even close. Alpaco / Diego G / Jez / Sparky / Tynan / wisch looks like a possible lineup. This will definitely take-home dubs, I get the impression this D2 will be like last seasons where every team gets 3 dubs or so at least. Feels like a crime putting anyone last.

In conference B I have Banana Legion taking the win. A strong off-season as well as picking up Dragon and Brye for the front and Cuj if they choose to explore the bagging options. With already a top-heavy roster these additions pad it out nicely. Royal / ruby / Onim / Dragon / Brye +1 (Cuj if bagging, Zeta/Aplex/Gecko) if not. I think is the most talented roster in the division and has good depth options. Lots of different native languages in the call and a few additions so we’ll see how the communication goes but if that can be clean I don’t see why BL shouldn’t take the division. I have Mushroom Team Mind in 2nd. One of the few teams in the higher divisions to have zero roster changes, but I don’t think that’s a bad thing. Lots of this roster has played with each other for a while now and they have some options. Huayra / Canoso / Kokote / Neykan / YFM / Luca (from team 2) / Seergio / Juls are all solid options here. The players after aren’t bad for the division either. I’d say MT is the most evenly balanced roster but I don’t see an elite talent duo/trio for this division that other teams have above them. I have Soul in 3rd. I really like the Gaelounet pickup for the roster. Cherish’s major selling point to me was their very small roster so pretty much every scrim they had the same lineup practicing too. Obviously, that’s stressful so having more players is nice but I liked that about them last season and think it helped immensely. ApG and Ryan (Nyx) were also added. On paper this should be good but I’m going to wait and see as both of these people have been shuffling through multiple teams for most of their time in the game I can’t trust them instantly. Arti / Jasmine / Perishi / Squid / Nyx / Gae is what I’d expect the main 6 to be, depth options here though now too. I think this team has the potential to make playoffs even though I have them 7th overall (I think every team in this division can actually make playoffs which are super hype). I just think MT is a similar talent with more experience together and BL just has more talent which is why I put them ahead. Last, at the conference, I have Dynamite Alpha which again feels like a crime. Again, this is one of the teams that made no significant roster changes where many teams in the division did which in DY’s case I think will hurt a bit (getting punished for keeping the same roster always tilts me tbh) as DY was a middle pack team last season and the division being a lot stronger now so it might hurt. Leon / Delta / SaikaG / Samuraott / Alfie / Varo or something similar of the sorts. If the locker room can stay healthy playoffs are not out of the question though.

For the semi-finals I have BL beating EU 2-0, the difference in talent is just too strong for this matchup in my opinion. I have Star Clan beating MT 2-0 as well in the other semi-final. This one will be closer but Sc is really thirsty to prove themselves and with the updated the roster they seem to be more confident than ever so I assume they’ll grow more during the season MT does despite them being equal going into it for me. In the finals though, I will be taking BL over Sc 2-1. I think this will be an extremely competitive final but BL’s roster just seems too talented to me for them to not win the division. I feel like I’m making a hot take with the MVP here but I went with BL ruby. I feel this racer is very underrated and overlooked and is one of the best inward users in the community. If BL takes the shock route too could get his indivs padded a bit from that as well.

Division 3:

Conference A:
HDolino (1)
Arcadia Terra (WC2)
Resemblance (6)
Drift Riders (7)

Conference B:
Midnight Wasps (2)
Nasty Raid Jin (WC1)
Yoshi Family Galaxy (5)
Valyria (8)

Semi-finals:
HD 2-1 ARC
мω 2-1 NR

Finals:
мω 2-1 HD

MVP: NR Sigma [107.1]

For conference A I have HDolino winning. Lots of strong experience on this roster how have played together a lot in Rookie / Aero / Tatum / Blaze. Sketch is a huge pickup and is an easy person to get to mesh with a lineup. Not sure who the last would be projected to be but that top 4 and Mr. “LFG” Blaze is a really strong starting 5 for this division. This team should thank COVID or else Rookie would be watching Joe Burrow instead. I have Arcadia Terra in 2nd. The loss of Gdin hurts but the team has more than ample players available to step up for that. Biz / Dew / mikkel / Stevens / Kevin / Geddy / Charly / popuko all will provide stuff to the table this season. 6ran “Glizzy” Branndoli also could appear to all run sub 80 potentially this season too. I have Resemblance in third. I don’t have much personal experience with this team but the roster looks hype and it’s got my boys Draco and DG_14. Adding the mattress / Eru so that makes a solid top 4. Santy Jr lowkey a chad, not too familiar with the rest of the team's ability in this game but I imagine there’s enough to cover up depth here. I would not be surprised if this team makes playoffs either, the league overall is just way more stacked in the top divs than usual. I have Drift Riders getting last in the conference. Still a solid roster and a competitive team, but someone had to be put here. Asznee / Electro / Ronan / Sig / Spudd / Rafy getting vibes for that. I think this will be like D2 where no team gets farmed in the entire division and everyone’s competitive but someone has to get last regardless.

For conference B I have Midnight Wasps getting the dub. The team hasn’t had roster changes but the team itself has grown loads since the last season. A rough D3 outing last time but really good tournament results and lots of scrim practicing with the same lineups (this team has a case like cherish’s last season I brought up) has helped the players improve loads. The COVID + younger players factor also a scary duo. Felix / Christo / Ryou / LS / Anto / Attila looking solid. Nel / Mathlhias / Shin / Ziner good depth too. The chemistry for mw has always made the roster perform better than the paper would suggest and I think that trend will continue here. I have NR in the 2nd which lands on the other side of that coin. On paper, this roster looks like it would sweep but the results I’ve seen and insider sources say the teams been struggling to connect as a unit but if these clicks before or during the season a lot better this team will be scary. Sigma / Origin / Up / Scartax (has improved a lot recently) is a really good top 4. Flo’ / Play / Blackdown / Pom / Kartoons are decent options at the very least as well to fill out the lineup. This team has the most potential to make a splash but I’m not convinced it will happen personally. I have Yoshi Family Galaxy in the 3rd. CrazyKonga being added to the roster is a nice addition for someone who has much D1 experience as well and championship experience if you go all the way back to MK7. YF has been a very balanced team that has stuck together for a long time which is respectable but they haven’t really had the players with experience at the very top and Crazy Konga could provide that. Alexxx is coming off winning the Jack Adams Award last season and I think this will be YF’s hardest test in MK8D to date in my opinion. Alexxx / Crazy / Hollend / loic +2, not sure who they backend will be could go either way. I wish this team the best and I think they’ll be competitive but fall short of the playoffs. I have Valyria as the last seed. I’ll admit this is a little ignorant of me as I’ve never played them or know much about this team at all. I’m starting to lose my touch it seems. The roster looks solid though being honest. Kratos / Pana / Polimar / Sync / Pakaguarra / Danipro seems like a hype team to root for and very well may do some damage but I’m going to leave them here for now.

For the playoffs, I have HDolino beating Arcadia Terra 2-1, this will be a close series but HD’s roster I feel will be a bit more connected and stronger, as the 5/6th man slots I think will be really established for HD by this point. I have Midnight Wasps beating NR 2-1 in the other semi-finals. This will be a close and bloody series. I’m expecting some penalties to be given as well. I think mw will come out on top though as mw is a team that is much better at facing adversity than most teams and this will series will come down to pure grit. For the finals, I have mw taking it over HD as well 2-1. This is a bit of a reach for me as I think HD is the best team in the division but my guts tell me the wasps will win it so I’m going with that. I have Athaway (Sigma) as the MVP for NR, safe pick but we’re going with that.

Division 4

Conference A:
Fatal Aces (2)
Melodya Orphée (5)
Mushroom Team Soul (6)
Wii Elite Clan (8)

Conference B:
Souls of the Circuit (1)
Zodiacs (3)
Jean-Pierre Papin (4)
Star Clan Cosmos (7)

Semi-Finals:
JPP 2-1 sтс
zı: 2-1 Fλ

Finals:
zı: 2-1 JPP

MVP: sтс Demon (119.6)

In conference A I have Fatal Aces first. The paper looking kinda fine, but uncertain about the comms and chemistry that will be shown. Leroy / King Daniel / Jax / Pepe / Chim / Doodle. Got some potential Japanese options and people like Dino and carltioscitoZ who could grind out during the season. Fresh was potentially going to make the trip but he chose to opt-out of the bubble. On paper, this looks kinda cracked. The biggest concern though is will King Daniel get bored and opt-out before the opt-out deadline??? Find out next time, on Dragon Ball Z. I have Melodya Orphee getting second in the conference. The loss of Sorata hurts but the team still has a strong core and has been grinding + the French bonus never lies. Babou / Klein Narky Teqzo +2 is what I’m expecting to see. Definitely a lot less firepower than the likes of FA and stc but their chemistry will be a lot better. I think they will just fall short of the playoffs though and conference B will be seeing 3 teams get the knock. In the third, I have Mushroom Team Soul. The roster lost a healthy number of players such as Luca / Centels / Nare / Colconetta. A couple of people were added but it won’t fill the hole. The chemistry the team has built up over the years can carry them to a higher seed for sure though. This leads to Wii Elite Clan last in the conference. The roster doesn’t seem as strong as the rest to me but they could pull out stronger lineups than previous seasons so not too sure what to expect. The team often tried to use multiple people in the past but with the second team back they have more leeway to sweat. Would not be surprised if they do better but the other teams have proved more already so I put them ahead.

For conference B, I have Souls Circuit Light first. The Demon Joubak additions are obviously the point of discussion here. Honestly a randy thing to seed but these two players will clap up. Fast / Perig / Loic are not bad either so the back end should be able to hold enough. The biggest question is will Demon actually finish a season that isn’t for Zealous? Will he care about the game? History says no, but maybe we’ll see some differences here. I have Zodiacs in 2nd for the conference. Mostly former ss but they have rebranded and made a couple of cuts and the locker room has been way healthier since and the team has connected a lot better. Ben / BryWH / Italic / Ethan / Hydro / Josh K looking lowkey like a snack. Got some decent bench depth as well so member issues shouldn’t be a thing. One of the teams I’m personally the most excited to see what they do. 3rd in the conference and the second wild-card spot I’m giving it to JPP2. The more I look at the roster the better I realize it is. Losing Crunchy and John “Patafix” Lennon felt like it shouldn’t hurt a lot. Arukay / Dydy / Flo / Th0mas / Wailtor / Zorm. I think this team could make a push for the title. This leaves Star Clan Cosmos as last in the conference which feels like a crime. The more I look at this conference through the stronger I think B is and Sc will pay the price. Zi and JPP2 have a lot more experience together as a unit and no language barriers and stc just have people that will break the division. Aketx / Ethan / Kuzu / Pol / Saezuri / Sorata looks solid. I think the chemistry will hurt though compared to the other teams.

For the playoffs, I have JPP2 taking out the Circuit. By this point I’m predicting Demon won’t really care but even if he did, I think JPP could pull it off. The middle/back end of JPP2 will overcome the high-end talent at the top of STCs lineup. In the other semi, I have Zodiacs grinding FA. This will be a very close series but like the other series, I believe chemistry will take the dub here. Not confident in all of FA’s roster being active/passionate during the entire season either based on some histories. In the finals, I think Zodiacs will take it 2-1 but I this series I could see going anyway. I feel like this will be my favourite final of the entire season if it happens, so go off kings. For the MVP I’m taking the free pick of Demon, the only way this doesn’t happen is if he ditches the team before gets the eligible GPs.

Division 5

Conference A:
Tuestame la Tostada (2)
Higher Octave (WC2)
Princess Monarchy (5)
Kira Team (7)

Conference B:
eXodus (1)
TR eSports (WC1)
Nferno Volt (6)
Dynamite Omega (8)

Semi-Finals:
モメ 2-1 8va
TT 2-1 TR

Finals:
モメ 2-1 TT

MVP: TT Centels [105.2]

I had to skip this division on my first run through because it felt like everyone could win so I’m kinda salty. For conference A I have Toast Club bringing it home. The results of this team during the bubble were very inconsistent. Centels / JaVinci / Hkn / Nare / Sergio / Welcius / Shiek / Luismo etc. Tons of depth options and chemistry from years back that should resurface. I think things will click ASAP and that will pay dividends. Second, in the conference, I have Higher Octave. This is a team that’s been grinding and on the come up and the roster looks really balanced. I find balance is really important in the middle divisions. The Davis pickup was huge too. Davis / fate / Harry / Jacob / Sky / Violet / Joshua / Ginja / Corinth etc. Another roster that won’t have holes and solid chemistry, a great recipe. In 3rd I have Princess Monarchy. The loss of Gaelounet hurts but the team still important pieces. Clembec / mytDRAGON / Samovar the OGs. God some decent options in the backend too in like Ambre / Aranaut / Floro and some more. Not having as strong as a backend as TT and 8va is why I put them below. This leaves KT last in the conference, feels like a crime though. Edy / enekito / Javizz / Hydra / Spork / Tiger / Toni. Wouldn’t be surprised to see this higher, I think this conference will be really competitive.

For conference B I have eXodus in first. This team has been building a lot of momentum throughout Double Down and after it. The run was pretty lucky with matchups but they delivered in spades nonetheless and have has some solid practice games in the bubble. Jin / Lukas / Haupi is a great top 3 and the backend doesn’t take away too much. Zuax been on the grind and christianMK and SirDozent looking solid too. I think eX will carry the momentum they have going in. Second, at the conference, I have TR eSports. Honestly not sure how to feel about this one. Brantios / Javiwii / MeraKy / P3r3jon / Sergio87 / Bermus / Unai / Dr4gux I know are all solid options maybe even more so the depth won’t be an issue. Haven’t seen the performances much lately but I think they have what it takes to make the playoffs. Third, at the conference, I have Nferno Volt. The losses of Yoshi and Denno I feel hurt this roster a lot. Sources are saying Kayne has opted out of the bubble too so if this is true that hurts a lot as well. The duo Leo’s could clap up though. Not too sure how the LU will round out I assume Boshi / Marc / Dark / Aexo combo maybe some Niko gaming. The depth is less than eX and TR so I have them below. If Kayne opts back in the bubble that would be huge though. This leaves Dynamite Omega in the last slot. Like KT this feels like crime and I think this division is extremely competitive. Batboo / Beni / fox04k / Gucci I’m expecting not sure how the lineup will round out. Mitch is recovering from a wrist fracture and will not be able to start the season, we’ll see if he can come in later. Insider sources are also telling me that the Lady Byng trophy winner of last season Vike will also not be joining the team in the bubble. The losses of these two will hurt.

For the playoffs, I have eXodus edging on 8va 2-1 and TT doing the same to TR. Zuax and Welcius will make a huge play in game 3 to flip the tides for their respective teams. In the final, I have eXodus taking it 2-1 over TT and claiming the title to continue on their pace from Double down. For the MVP going with probably a longshot, honestly feels like could throw a dart but going with Centels. As a fellow gold digger, I gotta give him the vouch.

Division 6

Conference A:
Rainbow Fun (2)
Noir (WC1)
Noob Reborn (6)
Version 2 (7)

Conference B:
Grief Island (1)
Yoshi Family Odyssey (WC2)
Pirate Hackers (5)
Fenix (8)

Semi-Finals:
Gi 2-0 YF
N° 2-1 RF

Finals:
GI 2-1 N°

MVP: GI Auré (112.0)

Breakout Candidates: N° Elisa / アн rawr xd / N° Blue

In conference A we have Rainbow Fun taking the Double Yew. Leo will chad up. The lineup after can support him too with the likes of DJR / Ap6 / Johann / Themax / Phenix. RF is another team like eXodus that has been on the come up. Noir I have in 2nd. Noir had a major buff in the off-season. The pickups of Blue / Elisa / Green are massive here. Reddo and Blyth aren’t pickups to scoff at either. Faker and Lima being the OGs. Honestly, this is actually lowkey just a completely new roster kinda shook as I’m typing this. This puts NRB 3rd in the conference. This team has more chemistry and experience together which will help in this division but I think the talent gap of the top 2 will just be a little too much to overcome. The entire roster from last season is still there in Egeon / Alejo / Lobo / Nico / Deviljoker / Jotabe / Nayra. NRB is one of those teams that step it up more in the big matches so I could be underestimating them, This leaves Version 2 as the last team. I’m 100% sure this is wrong but I feel that way about the other 3 teams too. Zenith will be great for this division but I feel like the supporting cast (Ensy / Hayashi / Panda / Shadow / Snortle etc.) won’t live up as much as the other teams. Not confident about what the Japanese players can offer if they play, however.

For conference B I have Greed Island taking first. Like Noir, GI got some nice buffs this off-season too. Aure and Wolfy are huge additions and Haru_Spring will be available the whole season this time. These 3 on top with Kinuyo / Speedy and Chamingo is looking like a snack. I think this roster is really good for this division and will even go to win their second consecutive division. I have Yoshi Family Odyssey 2nd. I don’t any brute force on the roster but a nice balanced lineup overall. Custa / Lion / Damon / Thib / Zedrum / Kemboy should get some work done and I think they’ll barely grab the last playoff spot with this. In 3rd place, I got Pirate Hackers. Darky will do Darky things and the supporting cast has improved each season but I think it just is a bit short of playoffs. pH has also been a team that seems to have multiple different lineups they have to use during the season and this hurts them a bit. Ember will be strong if he plays but he hasn’t performed to be a power duo with Darky as expected. Ty’s been on the grind. Shy guy / rawr xd and Sinic are solid too. The depth will be more this season as well which should help to have Asuna / Glitch / Matt / Mega. Wouldn’t be surprised to see a playoff berth for this squad at all either. Last, at the conference I have Fenix. I might be underrated this team a lot, just wasn’t hitting for me compared to the other teams. I haven’t seen much of the LTA scene the entire off-season though so it’s probably ignorance. Camillo / Gabe / Pableras / Rolex / Ruben / Vic / Sweet something like that I’m expecting. Should be competitive for the division but someone needs to be placed last. Fenix sometimes has trouble staying out of the penalty box too and this will hurt.

For the playoffs, I have GI taking care of business over YF2 2-0. The difference in talent I think will be too much for YF2’s chemistry to handle. I also have Noir getting the job done over RF 2-1. This series will go to overtime match 1 then the teams will split matches in close wars. Blue will be the overtime hero. The finals will be a rematch of D8 finals last season which is kinda weirdchamp honestly. I have the outcome being the same with GI taking the 2-1 victory and claiming their second title. GI has been really good at making the barriers having half Japanese lineups work really well compared to most teams which are honestly hyped to see. The MVP I have GI Aure. RF Leo is the obvious pick but I wanted to spice it up a bit.

The breakout candidates are back for this division and lower. Again these are people that will make a name for themselves this season who haven’t played before or people that have been around that haven’t got much attention and throw their name out there more.

Division 7

Conference A
Battle Brigade (1)
Zten (WC1)
Silence Eclipse (5)
Equivoke (7)

Conference B
Boo Bombs (2)
AfterDark (WC2)
Kartnita Asada (6)
Team APE (8)

Semi-Finals:
ßß 2-0 ΛD
ζten 2-1 ßoß

Finals:
ßß 2-0 ζten

MVP: ßoß Thimo [124.2]

Breakout Candidates: ΛD Spesh / KA Ivan909 / APE Enri

For conference A I have Battle Brigade First. This team will be the favourites for the division and I think they will take it by the end but I don’t think it will be as easy as people have made it sound to be. Complacency is also a killer, so underestimating opponents can bite you back. On the other side of the coin for the rest of the division, overestimating your opponents is just as bad. The addition of Erik is huge. Players like Jev and tommyg have been developing well. Ross / Garch / Feety etc. solid as well from what I’ve seen. I have Zten getting 2nd in the conference. Zten’s roster has been very stable over the seasons but it’s hard to judge exactly where they are at with the weird timezone factor. White being able to play more would be huge. Nyanyamilk always shows up. Finish that off with Imasara / Anima / Chopin / usagiusagi looking like a solid roster. Not sure how much has changed during the off-season though so a bit of a mystery for me. I have Silence Eclipse in third. The Enger Flaps duo is hype. Jair Blaex64 are solid too. The backup of the lineup I think will suffer compared to Zten and BB though. This leaves Equivoke as last. This team lost a handful of players this off-season and didn’t get to see much of the new roster results-wise so honestly have no idea what to expect, I hope they surprise me. Xeter and Xakob splash brothers will do work but I don’t think they will get a supporting cast strong enough.

For conference B I have Boo Bombs first. The Pickups of Thimo and Shaiman are massive for this division. Not quite confident in the cast that can support behind him, losing Enri hurts. Bubblechu IceFox Icehawk +1 is what I’m assuming here. This will be enough to hold down the big puntos from the power duo. In second, I have After Dark. These teams really hit and miss for me but I think they will manage to sneak their way into playoffs. Spesh has been improving a lot which will be the key factor. Dan Talents / Azuza should be solid here too. Alen and Cone could make some noise as well as new recruits. Not sure how the chemistry/call will be though. Kartnita Asada takes my third slot. The loss of Rem hurts. Kevo I assume will still play? But has seemed kinda sus motivation wise. Ivan is good as well. I assume the LU will end off with javo / ata +1 after that. If Kevo is at full strength I could see them making playoffs but I like the chips being on AD instead. This leaves Team APE in last. This is a hard one for me, as they were overseeded last season it’s hard to tell exactly what the skill level is. Losing mystery hurts but adding Enri probably negates that. I’m expecting Zatlo / Rober / nicolocom to play as well but not sure how the back end will line up. Haven’t really seen tables form them either so I could be underrated the team.

For playoffs, I have Battle Brigade 2-0ing AD, not in a convincing fashion but 2-0 is a 2-0. I’m going to predict Zten to make the finals as well as upsetting BoB 2-1. I feel like I shouldn’t be doing this but I am. My guts telling me we’re going to see the best Zten we have seen yet even though I have 0 evidence of that. For the MVP going safe with BoB Thimo.

Conference A:
Savage (2)
Sweatyzard (WC2)
Pirate Hunters (6)
Kame House (7)

Conference B:
Fatal Anchors (1)
Red Ribbon (WC1)
Final Emblem (5)
Noite Sinistra (8)

Semi-Finals:
Fλ 2-0 Sz
® 2-0 SVG

Finals:
® 2-1 Fλ

MVP: ® Oziel [113.1]

Breakout Candidates: SVG 7 / pħ Francis / Sz Steye

For conference A I have Savage in the first place. A new team but it seems solid compared to most of the new teams. 7 / Benjax / Carlos / Arewau looking like a very solid top 4. I’m assuming we’ll see something like Rosee and Cappy to the top it off. Interested to see what this team can do. Also, if ZeKirio ever reads this, I just wanted to let you know both of my parents are doing very well at the moment. Second, in the conference I have Sweatyzard. Still love how the team literally has sweat in the name, always will love that. This roster looks like it’s been pretty consistent from when I was their admin a while back. Janti / Kiki / Sbug / GrT. The addition of Steye should be large as well. I think this roster will get themselves a spot in the playoffs with a clutch 2-0 in the final week. I have Pirate Hunters in the 3rd. Honestly have no idea what I’m expecting to see here as I’m expecting the lineups to vary a lot each week. Alsterboy / Francis / Sneakz / Night / Hartless / Ricky is what I think we’d see? Insider sources say Ricky might be opting out though. I see this as the wildcard team in the division, I have no idea what will happen. This leaves me having Kame House in last. I never see anything about this team outside of MKU league specifically. Vikler / Kinopio / Goku / Guito / Titan +1 is what I’m expecting to see. I might be underrated these guys a lot so we’ll see.

For conference B I have Fatal Anchors taking the 1 seed. Blair / Carty / Marlin / Glooba / Alex / Melonz is what I’m expecting to see. This will be an interesting roster to see play out and I think it will go quite well for them overall. Second in the conference, I have Red Ribbon. I’ve never felt hype for this team prior but I’m feeling it this season. Oziel is a piper, Ramas and Rushiez are OGs and they have gotten the Chile grind Squad that used to be Kartvengers (Barbador / Ganon / Hanz / JL). I think this team will be underrated going into the season and will Popoff. Third, in the conference I have Final Emblem. I’ve never been able to solve my opinions on this team and get overwhelmed looking at how long the roster is most of the time and lots are retired so it’s hard to say exactly what we’re working with too. Ness / Suaf / Lycam I’m confident are active at the moment and will play. Not too sure what will come after that though or who still plays. With their experience though I can’t put them lower and I feel like I’m already underappreciating it due to my ignorance on the team’s situation. This leaves Noite Sinistra last. The roster is very similar to Mad Racers who played a while ago for a few seasons. D. AraN / matam / Skynet / Val +2 is what I’m expecting to see. I feel the firepower on this roster is on the weaker end of the division and staying out of the penalty box is also usually difficult for this team which will hurt extra hard.

For playoffs, I have Fatal Anchors taking care of Sweatyzard 2-0 and Red Ribbon making a hype upset 2-0 over Savage. Red Ribbon will go to carrying this momentum to take the division 2-1 over FA and take out both of the conference champions. I have Oziel as the MVP as well. Lots of options here but I will settle with that.

Division 9:

Conference A:
American Gunslingers (1)
Nasty Raid Kermit (WC2)
LATIN KART (6)
Fenix Z (7)

Conference B:
Arcanum Aterna (2)
Kira Team 2 (WC1)
Bassline (5)
Dark Phantom Knights (8)

Semi-Finals:
NR 2-1 ΛGs
ム∞ 2-1 KT

Finals:
ム∞ 2-0 NR

MVP: ム∞ Hiska [128.1]

Breakout Candidates: ΛGs acidic94 / ム∞ A.J. / LTK Dalos

This is the division I went with I think it a very unlikely outcome in the end but wanted to roll with it for the hard read. I have American Gunslingers first, would be #1 in the league if it went by best registry name lineup. This is another new team and one that shows promise to develop nicely. Acidic / Big Ed / theTRUTH / Yoshi24kobe / eva / Gamer1 / Somrat. The tables are looking kinda clean I saw and best yet, there weren’t many allies in them which most of the other new teams had so huge props to that, this makes me want to cheer for them. I have Nasty Raid Kermit as my 2nd slot. Jujudut should be really strong here. Tox / Wanted / Demyx / Bat’ / Reilly / h3ylloo looks like a pretty solid supporting cast. I’m not sure the chemistry and meshing have been going but I’m going be under the assumption this roster improves a lot as the season goes on. I have LATIN KART 3rd; I could see them higher though. Chiki / Dalso / Baau / J0hn / pein +1 is what I’m expecting to see. This leaves Fenix Z in last. We’re starting to get into territory where I’m more ignorant than I’d like to be about teams. This is Fenix’s first time entering two teams in the competition. I don’t recall Fenix having such a large roster overall so I’m getting the impression this might be a quantity more than the quality situation. LCTA / Lalo / Karl / Edu_7 / Alemantium / MIUJUTO would be my guess what happens. I could see this doing better after typing that out but I’ll leave them here for now.

For conference B I have Arcanum Aterna winning it. I feel like this shouldn’t happen to look at all the rosters but I’m going with it. Hiska will be really solid here of course. The supporting cast I believe will consist of players such as A.J. / Quillo / Barker / ThE RoB +1. Barker and Quillo lowkey grinders and A.J. has played higher up before and held his own I believe so that should help quite a bit here. Second, I have Kira Team 2. ElMarried will 100% Popoff for this team. Ulrich / Korben / Weedox +2 is what I expect to be seeing. I think KT2s and Arcanum’s rosters function in a very similar way but giving the edge to Arcanum. Third, in the conference, I have Bassline. The roster has 20 members which always concerns me there won’t be consistent LUs. HSB will be good here Wason / Sand / Magaya0 / Icy +1 I think is what I’ll expect to see. I feel like I’m forgetting a chad though. I feel like this roster should make playoffs despite having them just missing so it would not surprise me to see them fight for the title at all. This leaves Dark Phantom Knights as my last position. Hiroku will be a hard carry but not seeing that much after that. This team is similar to what AXE was last season I feel (despite AXE still being in the league) and that their results are really inconsistent. Normally this isn’t a bad thing in lower divisions but I feel the middle divisions are starting to become a lot more consistent than they used to be and Hiroku won’t be able to do it alone.

For the playoffs, I have Nasty Raid upsetting AGs. I hope this doesn’t happen but it’s been a while since I banked on France factor so we’re due for it. 2-1. I have Arcanum taking out KT2 2-1 in what I think will be the most balanced series in low/middle div. The finals I’ll also give to Arcanum to take 2-0 over NR2. I feel like I’m throwing hard still with this division but we’re sticking with it. Hishka MVP.

Division 10

Conference A:
Ascension (1)
Alliance Rainbow (WC1)
Mystery Team (WC2)
Melodya Eurydice (8)

Conference B:
Apex Racing (2)
TR eSports 2 (5)
Gomespuma (6)
X-Project (7)

Semi-Finals:
Λи 2-1 ¿
AR 2-0 AP

Finals:
Λи 2-1 AR

MVP: RubenD [139.8]

Breakthrough Candidates: AP Mk8james / Λи coreydey88 / ¿ RBX Jc

Ascension is my pick to take the conference. Cavrny / coreydey88 / Lily / SG77 I feel like is a very good core for this division. Not too confident who would round it out, probably Vanni +1? I think this will be a really good season for Ascension and they will learn a lot from it and grow more. In second, I have Alliance Rainbow. I have no idea what to expect here. As someone who has been around since WCL season 1 I’m used to seeing AR at the top and playing really good teams instead of 6v6 D9-12 bombs so not too sure how to feel. I know what most of the roster is capable of if they grind the game (and if they take it seriously) so the potential for this team to improve over the season is higher than any other teams in the league. In third I have Mystery Team. I’m going to be quirky and have 3 teams from this conference make playoffs. Mystery team I feel like I’m probably overrating at the moment but I know how hard they have been on the grind. Tons of wars daily they are putting themselves in a position to pop off even though this placement might seem a little high at first look. Vildox / JC / Simon F / Loic / Sky +1 is what I’m expecting. This is personally one of the teams this season I’m rooting for the most. This leaves MA2 as the last in the conference. The roster just looks underwhelming to me compared to the other 3 but I might just be ignorant.

For conference B I’m putting Apex Racing first. Antwann X / Javi01 / mk8james / Superz / Tadpole / Hi. / Wooper all seem more than capable than holding their own here. I’m not certain about the rest of the roster so it could be even better. I have TR eSports 2 in second. Unfortunately, I think despite this they will just miss out on the wild card race. This if the first TR will be entering a second team and I’ve really only followed the team 1 players so I have no idea to expect here and threw a dart. I know TR grinds though so I can’t see them finishing at the bottom. In the third place I have Gomaspuma. Straight and to the point this will be the RubenD show and solo carries aren’t that effective anymore, I believe you at least need a duo to carry to make a huge difference. I can’t see the supporting cast being able to keep up with the other teams. This leaves X-Project as the last spot. Quique and Secret should do well here but I’m not feeling the middle/back end of the lineup holding up that well.

For playoffs, I have Ascension 2-1 over Mystery team. Ascensions lineup just looks more complete to me but this should be a good series and take 3 games. In the other series, I have AR 2-0ing AP. AR will start slow but end stronger and take out the conference champ when it matters. Even with AR progressing during the season I will give Ascension the knock to take the title 2-1. For the MVP I have RubenD – free.

Division 11:

Conference A:
eXodus 2 (1)
Kartperial (WC2)
Souls of Circuit Dark
Pandala

Conference B:
Inka Warriors (2)
Noob Revolution (WC1)
Making Llujua
Greed Island Coast

Semi-Finals:
モメ 2-0 κτρ
NRV 2-1 IW

Finals:
モメ 2-0 NRV

MVP: NRV PaulaB [113.4]

Breakthrough Candidates: モメ Jan / NRV Claudio / アα GRIZBLI

For conference A I have eXodus 2. This team looked solid here with the tables I saw. Falco / Jan / Firefly / Yasn / Rollo / Chris looking tasty. I feel like this is the only complete team in the division. I have Kartperials in the 2nd. These teams hype honestly, love them. Grind with the same roster first couple seasons and rarely use allies. Alemario / Franz / Paro / Gah +2. Got some new names on the registry so potentially some chad potential there would be kinda hype. I have souls of the circuit dark 3rd. Vincegeta I know will be good. Not super confident about this team managing 2 rosters especially as last season was the first time in ages, they have completed a season and the teams had a history of dying and coming back. Things are looking different this time though so maybe it will be successful running two teams. I don’t think I’m going to expect a lot through this season from them. Last, I have Pandala. Again, mainly an ignorance pic I’ve only ever seen one table of any of this roster in a war before and it wasn’t a table I feel like much value could come out of other than GRIZBLI popping off. I look forward to seeing how they do but I put them last for now.

Inka Warriors are my pick for conference B. This is definitely the team with the most veteran presence in the division. DiegoH / Dari / Jar / Kenobi / Starlord +1 what I’m expecting. Feel like I might be missing someone but I think this team will have enough veteran experience and a balanced enough roster to do work in this division. I have Noob Revolution 2nd. I know NRB/NRV grind and sweat on the down low which is hype. The roster is honestly looking better than I would’ve expected out of an NRB second-team roster. Eli / Kuobak / Jonax / Claudio / Paula / Eliaan looking nice. This roster is actually really balanced as well. I think they will fare well in this division. I have Making Llujua third. These teams honestly super hype; they aren’t able to practice as much though as most teams or play as often so that hurts them quite a bit. You’ll expect the usual AlvArO / Ghost / Shaddix / urcarus +2. The lack of practice compared to the other teams will hurt them here though. This leaves Greed Island Coast last. The roster looks underwhelming to me compared to the rest but I might be completely ignorant on the team. I know they have been playing a decent amount and the French factor though so I wouldn’t be surprised if they finished higher.

I have Exodus 2 taking out ktp 2-0 in the semi-final pretty easily and NRV upsetting 2-1 by improving a solid amount during the season. The efforts will fall a little short though as Exodus will take home the Championship 2-1 in the finals to secure a banner for both of their squads. I have NRV PaulaB as MVP. There are probably 10+ solid options here so we’ll throw a dart and hope it hits.

Division 12:

Conference A:
Speed Stars (1)
Eixit Army (5)
Itollani (6)
Emblem’s Academy (7)

Conference B:
Silence Eclipse Saros (2)
Wii Elite Clan Silver (WC1)
RedSuns (WC2)
Another Xtreme Element (8)

Semi-Finals:
§★ 2-0 そ
WEC 2-1 Sε

Finals:
§★ 2-0 WEC

MVP: §★Zeebs [121.9]

Breakthrough Candidates: Sε Ayden. / そ Dani07 / IT Kami

For conference A I have Speed Stars grinding the conference. Zeebs will clap cheeks. POW / Umbreon / Aetron / ashree / squilliam to round out seems solid. Could be missing someone too. This seems pretty solid overall + Zeebs has div breaking potential so I think this will be a clean ride, hopefully, I’m wrong though. I have Eixit Army in 2nd. The roster looks similar to last seasons and I think they will be fine. In the third I have Itollani. This is the team I’m the least sure about in this division. P_blo / M4R10 / Kami are the players I’ve seen and I feel they all should be fine here but not sure what to expect after that. In last I have Emblems’ Academy. Darquis last seasons Hart trophy winner will pop off but I’m not seeing much after that. A few losses to FE and other teams hurt as well. Every table I’ve seen has had multiple allies too in scrims which is always a turnoff for me.

For conference B I have Silence Eclipse Saros first. Ayden. / Rex / Joshdj is a solid top 3. Not too confident in the back end but I think that should be enough here. In second, I have Wii Elite Clan Silver. Being the second team of an upper/middle division team, this roster feels underwhelming. The experience should be enough to fight for the title though. Red Suns I have third and making the playoffs still. Dani07 / missagod / Yisus / PIU looks like a solid top 4. Not confident in the back end but I don’t think they need one (for all I know there is one too) to make the playoffs though I feel. I have AXE in last. Hiroku carried them blatantly last season and they don’t have him now. I haven’t really seen what they are capable of without him but my expectations aren’t high, I hope I’m proving wrong though.

In the semi-finals, I have Speed Stars 2-0ing Red suns pretty easily and WEC taking out Saros when it matters 2-1 to reach the finals. In the finals, I have Speed Stars taking it 2-0. Zeebs will be too much to handle with the wall of support he’ll have. MVP Zeebs

Division 13

Conference A:
Legends of Stars (1)
Fast Evils (WC1)
BLACK DIAMOND (5)
Poki-esports (7)

Conference B:
Galactic Wheels (2)
Frères de Poulpe (WC2)
Liberty (6)
Re-Birth (8)

Semi-Finals:
LS 2-0 FdP
GW 2-1 FEs

Finals:
LS 2-1 GW

MVP: LS AC2 [122.2]

Breakout Candidates: GW Angel_2 / FdP Akëdysséril / FEs primat

I have Legends of Stars first. AC2 / nonos should be a power duo. Ectha and MXL will be solid too. The experience from last season will help a lot too. Fast Evils I have 2nd. Coming off the D12 banner and maintaining their whole roster except Quillo I think they will be ok. Gonzalo / MATUS / primat / Brawl +2 looks solid. There’s probably a couple of others too that I’m unaware of but I’m getting good vibes from this team. I feel like it’s LS’s season though. I have Black Diamond in third. P3r3jon loss will hurt immensely. Don’t know much about the rest of the roster, Cande should be solid still but losing your hard carry in low divisions hurt. I’ll be rooting for these guys though and when you lose your carry it opens room for people to grow. In last I have poki e-sports. A new team, I haven’t seen much of it and lots of the allies in the tables so I’m not too confident. Scales and Akasia should be solid though.

For conference B I have Galactic Warriors first. I know barely anything about this team outside a single table but I’m getting good vibes. Angel / Antonia / Galaxy the big 3 if you count one table. A name like tomasito just emanates pressure too. The leader being called DuoBum also makes me want them to win. FdP I put 2nd. The loss of Dydy hurts immensely. I feel like they should be solid for this division though despite that. Akedusseril and Cable should be a good duo but I don’t know much after that. French grind factor though is free $$$$. I have Liberty 3rd. The ignorance of teams stating to hit hard here. Every member is new on the registry except Doriva who was in Mad Racers. I haven’t seen results for them either so this is a complete dart being thrown. This leaves Re-Birth in last. Similar to Dydy, losing Raph hurts and I don’t feel like RB has any resources to make up for that as FdP does. I hope I’m wrong though.

For playoffs, I have LS taking care of FdP pretty easily 2-0. FEs should be the favourite I feel in the other semi-final but going with the DuoBum clapping cheeks hype for the 2-1 upset series win but will fall 2-1 to LS who will ultimately take the title. MVP = LS AC2.

Division 14

Conference A:
Knights of Wheels (1)
Apex Revived (WC2)
Team Luxembourg (5)
BLUE DIAMOND (8)

Conference B:
Nerd Prom (2)
Harmonia (WC1)
Royal Stars (6)
Team Upload (7)

Semi-Finals:
κω 2-0 AP ²
NP 2-1 HR

Finals
κω 2-1 NP

MVP: κω Aulo [139.5]

Breakout Candidates: NP Ben Foolery / TU Andromeda / HR Leviossah

For conference A I have Knights of the Wheels taking the dub. Raikou / Aulo / Scelu / Nryx / Blash / Tomansk. I think this might be the only complete roster in the division and Aulo will do work too. I have Apex Revived in the 2nd. Voices will do really well here. Ulvind / Koneko I think will be good too. Dr. Proctor is a hype fun team to cheer for I think. Kw’s lineup I feel straight up outclasses AP’s but I think they will secure 2nd pretty easily here. I have Team Luxembourg third. Sam / Ricky / Kakpu should be big 3 to help TL out again. I feel like TL should do fine here with their experience but I feel like they have always finished lowered than I anticipated so I’m lowballing them this time which means they win the division. This leaves Blue Diamond in last. I’m not confident in Black Diamond's roster as it is so having an entire second team doesn’t make me too confident in the performances that will be pulled out.

For conference B I have Nerd Prom first. Hexgod will be really good as expected. BenFoolery and ByronBoss Aussie duo will be hype as well. The teams have been practicing a lot which will help. The back end of the lineup won’t be as strong but will be able to support the big 3. If the Aussie’s are unavailable at MKU hours I don’t think they will make the playoffs though. I have Harmonia 2nd. LeThug / Leviossah / Tistou / Astro +2 I think will be what we seeing. Don’t know too much about this team overall but I’m feeling pretty good about this. In third place I have Royal Stars. Lukas and Milo will be a good start, not certain what is after that but I think there are some Alolan Guardians members here so there should be a bit of experience here. Last, I have Team upload. Andromeda / Jum / Godkip should be a solid start. Being a new team and not having a back end of the lineup I think will hurt. Most of the scrims had allies carrying too so it’s hard to see what will happen with none in the room.

For the semi-finals, I have Knights of Wheels taking care of business 2-0 easily and NP winning 2-1 over Harmonia. Knights of Wheels I feel are too strong overall but NP will put up a fight and grind a close win game 2 but won’t be able to finish the job game 3. Hexgod seems like the obvious MVP choice but I’m going with κω Aulo.

Division 15

Conference A:
Golden Karts (2)
Knights of the Multiverse (WC1)
Star Bits (6)
Luna’s Karts (8)

Conference B:
Hardcore Noobs (1)
Arcanum Polaris (WC2)
LATIN WARRIORS (5)
Aftermath (7)

Semi-Finals
KMV 2-0 GK
HN 2-1 ム★

Finals:
HN 1-2 KMV

MVP: HN Hajime [118.7]

Breakthrough Candidates: KMV Kaneon / GK Asriel / LTW islasKT

I’ll be honest, this is mostly throwing darts. For conference A I have Golden karts taking it. Asriel I think is a solid player for this division. Pinwuin is just a hype name and the Andorra members factor are hype. Cheering for these guys. Second, I have Knights of the Multiverse. This is the team I have the most information for outside HN. Tails and Kaneon I know will be solid but I’m not too convinced about the rest. Third I have Star Bits. Formerly known as Clan Honguitos. These teams struggled hard in every event they have played to date so I’m having them in the lower end of this division. I hope they pop off though. This leaves Luna’s Carts in last. One of the only teams I know virtually nothing about. If they apply as much pressure as their logo though they win the division 14-0. Also, the fact they have someone named Irving makes me want them to win.

For conference B I have Hardcore Noobs taking it. The only veteran team in the division and Hajime has the potential to break it probably. LeOsTyLe / Semako / FeXx / Andi +1 I think we’ll be seeing. This should be an easy conference win but I’m hoping one of the teams below is a surprising upcoming team. In second, I have Arcanum Polaris. The sole reason I have them here is they are a second team so they should have played with higher division players and gotten experience with them and maybe learned more at this stage of the game. These kinds of experiences can be very valuable. In the third I have LATIN WARRIORS. islasKT I think will be the strongest player and Bonar kind of a chad for the name alone. #BonarsoutforMonar. This team has been playing a decent amount so I’m hoping that pays off and they go further than I have them but I’m not confident yet. This leaves Aftermath last. One of the last teams to sign up, I know they played their first war on deadline day so I’m not feeling too confident about that. There’s a chance they could be naturally solid and click together though but I feel it’s likely not the scenario. With how Bullet Bills went last season in the same boat I will go with history repeating.

For the playoffs, I have KMV taking out their respective conference winners GK 2-0 after improving a lot during the season. HN I think will make it to the finals as well in an unexpectedly close 2-1 over Arcanum Polaris. In the finals, I have KMV taking out the Noobs 2-1. I think KMV will grow the most during the season and the payoff will be the banner. MVP HN Hajime.

Well, That is it guys, I want to cry and my entire weekend has been used up but we made it. In all seriousness, good luck to everyone and I hope this is a fantastic season.
