Information
200L Overdrive is a bracket-style tournament for 200cc. It was first hosted last August, albeit with very few teams, but seeing as we had our largest 200L season to date earlier this year, we decided it'd be worth it to host another. Like Overdrive I, this tournament will be double elimination, meaning that any teams that lose twice will be eliminated.
Match Times and Dates
In Overdrive I, we made it so most teams would only have to play at 4:00 PM/22:00 CEST. This was because of how previous 200L tournaments never had matches happen before 4:00 PM, let alone more than one match, so we thought it'd be safer to run with. However, given the nature of brackets, this ultimately extended the tournament, making Overdrive much longer than it needed to be. Since we'd like this tournament to run as smoothly and efficiently as possible, we are asking that teams who sign up be ready to play at both 3:00 and 4:00 PM EDT (21:00 and 22:00 CEST) respectively.
The tournament will begin on September 4 and is tentatively expected to run until October 2. Just note that the end date is not final and is subject to change depending on the number of teams who sign up.
Registration Deadline
Teams have until August 31st @ 23:59 PM UTC to register and make any necessary player transfers/registrations for 200L Overdrive II. Any player transferred onto a registered team after this deadline would be ineligible to play Overdrive II.
