Introduction
After a lot of demand for a third iteration of 200L's Underground Mario Kart League, we are pleased to announce we will finally be bringing it back after two and a half years! The 200cc community has almost completely changed since Season 2, so we think the time is right to run it again. If you are new to the concept of UML, all registered players will be placed in a draft pool to be selected by captains who form their teams for the season.

Overview
We will be requiring all participants to have played at least one Mario Kart Central tournament previously. This will hopefully reduce the number of inactive team members and drops. This event does not need to be a 200cc event.​

All matches will take place at 3PM EDT / 21 CEST and 4PM EDT / 22 CEST on Saturdays, beginning on October 15th and ending November 5th. We will begin with a group stage and then a playoff (with a Premier and a Consolation bracket). These matches will be organized in our discord server.

Draft
The Draft itself will take place on October 8th at 3PM EDT / 21 CEST, teams are likely to be 12 players depending on the signups and the number of captains who volunteer. We will be running a snake draft format. If you are interested in being a captain, please note that you are expected to be available on the date of the draft. Captains will be decided by the staff and no player will be guaranteed to be a captain even if they sign up as one. Captains are expected to be leaders of their teams and organize the team for matches. Noting all of this, if you are still interested in being a captain, please select 'Yes' when you are asked to host when you sign up for the tournament.

The registration deadline will be October 6th @ 11:59:59 PM EDT / October 7th @ 5:59:59 AM CEST. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact a 200L Staff member!
