Welcome to Amplify V!
Amplify V is the fifth edition of the popular Mario Kart 8 Deluxe tournament, Amplify. Amplify is a team event, where teams compete 6-versus-6 in 12-race matches. This season's tournament starts on January 4th, 2020 and will last until the 18th of January.
This season's tournament will run a new, accelerated format, where teams play multiple matches on both Saturdays and Sundays. Like the previous tournament, the event will start with a dual Swiss group stage, where teams are grouped into two groups which each run a Swiss-format setup. Following this, teams will be seeded into one of two double-elimination brackets and play to the end.
Important: Unlike most other team tournaments on MKCentral, 5v5 matches are not permitted in Amplify. All matches must be played 6-versus-6, although teams may play handicapped if one team is missing a sixth player.

Our Discord server will be used for general discussion and as a hub for team representatives to contact each other and stay updated on the tournament progression. Join now!
Registration
Registration for Amplify is done through the MKCentral registry. To register your team, you must create a team on the registry and invite all your team's players to the team. After that, you must register for the event on the Tournament Page.
Registrations will be capped at 40 teams. Reserve your spots now before it's too late!
