Welcome to Amplify VI!
Amplify VI is the sixth edition of the popular Mario Kart 8 Deluxe tournament, Amplify. Amplify is a team event, where teams compete 6-versus-6 in 12-race matches. This season's tournament starts on January 2nd, 2021 and will last for about 4 weekends (the exact length depends on the number of teams).
This season's tournament is planned to return to a traditional groups-to-bracket format. Teams will face each other in a round-robin group phase, then proceed to a double-elimination knockout bracket to determine the winners.
Prizes (new!)
New this year, the winning team will split a prize of $240 (payable through PayPal)! A maximum of 12 players on the winning team can earn a prize. Full eligibility details will be announced closer to the start of the tournament, and will be included in the ruleset. Please keep in mind this is an experimental prize offering, and will not become the standard for 6v6 tournaments at this point.

Our Discord server will be used for general discussion and as a hub for team representatives to contact each other and stay updated on the tournament progression. Join now!
Registration
Registration for Amplify is done through the MKCentral registry. To register your team, you must create a team on the registry and invite all your team's players to the team. After that, you must register for the event on the Tournament Page.
