We'd like to announce a new league coming to MKCentral, the 200 League! After a successful independent first season, the league staff and site staff have decided to bring the league over onto MKCentral.
What is 200L?
200L is an international 200cc league played at 2pm ET (20 CET) on Sundays, one hour before MKU. 200 League is a ten week round robin tournament with six team divisions, meaning that every team will play each other twice in their respective divisions. Matches in 200L are played in 6v6 format, meaning that if you are a new team or a returning team, please make sure you will be able to get at least 6 members for each match constantly, so potential issues can be avoided. Additionally, if you aren't already in it, join the Discord Server! For team reps, you will need to be in it, and will also be the place to get general info about the league.
How Do I Register?
Regardless if you are a team that played season 1 of 200L or a new team signing up right now, you must have a team page on the new 200cc MKCentral Registry. It functions the same as the 150cc registry, so if you are a team leader, just click on the "200cc Teams" tab, and then "Create A New 200cc Team." After that, fill out your team's info and begin inviting your members. If you need any extra help, consult the Registry Guide. Keep in mind if you already are signed up as a player, you don't need to sign up again.
Upcoming Dates & Season 2 Info
200L Season 2 is being planned to start on December 9th, 2018, and planning to run until Febuary 17th, 2019, due to a 2 week break for the holiday season after week 3. Additionally, the Season 2 Confirmation Thread is up now, but make sure to signup once your team has 9 members on the registry, or else your team will be considered invalid to play Season 2. You have until November 23rd to confirm your team, and the registration/transfer deadline will be closed at 6:59 PM EST at that time as well.
