Over the past few months, @Rookie and I have been working with an Esports Facility in central Ohio to organize a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe LAN Tournament!
Venue: Game Arena Esports Facility
Address: 3570 Fishinger Blvd Hilliard, OH 43026
Date and Time: April 13th, 12PM EDT
Events: 150cc FFA, 150cc Doubles, and 200cc FFA
Registration: Smash.gg and pay in person. (In person registration is from 11AM - 11:50AM EDT)
Entry Fee: $2 per event.
You can get a FREE soda and $1 discount on an event of your choosing if bring a full setup.
A full setup includes a Nintendo Switch, a Dock, and 100%-ed copy of MK8DX
Prizes: Entry fee goes toward prize pool.

If you can't attend, Game Arena will be streaming the event on their Twitch Channel.
We're glad to get this going, and we hope this inspires others to organize their own local tournaments!
Event Schedule (in EDT):
11am - 11:50am Registration
12pm - 150cc Singles
1:30pm - 150cc Doubles
3:00pm - 200cc Singles
We are expecting in the range of 10-30 entrants in our event! Number of entrants will determine the exact format. Registry for each individual event should be done at least 10 minutes before each event starts, and preferably everything before noon.
