Hello everyone,

We've taken some time to discuss the events played out in this "match" and have ultimately reached the verdict that this will not only will be turned into a double forfeit (0-0) but both Prevail and Stellar will be disqualified this season, albeit for different reasons.

In Prevail's case, they were unable to gather enough players for their matches this past weekend. In accordance with Rule V. e.:

e. If neither team has 6 players going into a match, it will be scored as a 0-0 double forfeit if no reschedule is played.
i. A match between two disqualified and/or withdrawn teams will be scored as a 0-0 double forfeit.
Considering that this is now their third forfeit of the season, they will be disqualified, unfortunately.

In Stellar's case, they also did not have six players ready for their match against Prevail. Under normal circumstances, this would've merely remained as a double forfeit, however, Stellar also violated Rule V. f. with the creation of this thread.

f. Teams who intentionally post inaccurate results or misleading proofs will be disqualified from the tournament at staff's discretion, and all players on the team risk being banned if staff deems that it was done with malicious intent.

Even though the intention was to claim this match as a forfeit win, they did so by staging a room in which they all joined later in the hour to make it appear like they had six players all along (see first post). In reality, that was never the case, at least within the first fifteen minutes of the room going up. Any time after that is irrelevant given Rule II. h.:

h. Once the room is open, the host must wait until either all players have joined and stayed in the room, or until 10 minutes have passed since the room was opened, whichever comes first.
- If a team fails to get at least 5 players in the room within 10 minutes of the room opening, they will receive a -10 point penalty.
- If a team fails to get at least 5 players in room within 15 minutes after the room opens, they forfeit the match by default.
*An important distinction to reiterate is that both teams were without six, therefore invalidating any results of the match if it was to be played under those circumstances. This puts both teams at fault and is the reason why a double forfeit is being issued.

Forging or attempting to forge results is a serious matter, especially when it is done to gain an advantage over other teams. These acts will not be tolerated and we encourage teams to reach out to us if they find themselves in a similar situation with one of their matches.
