Introduction
We're pleased to announce a new season of EuroLeague for this summer ! This season will be different as we are returning to a 6v6 team event. This tournament will follow a 3-stage format with 2 matches a week.
Whichever teams win their brackets will be crowned as the champion (and will win the precious and famous banner)
8-team swiss groups, 3-matches long. Higher seeds will skip this stage.
Same system as Stage 1. Depending on the amount of sign-ups, a few top seeds will skip this stage as well (which means they would directly start in Gold bracket)
Gold, Silver and Bronze brackets. Double-elimination, Bronze bracket will start on the third week, Gold/Silver on the fourth one.
Eligibility
You need at least 9 players, whose 8 of them have to be European. Also, every match must be played with at least 5 European players in the line-up. Failing to honor this rule will automatically result in a forfeit.
Match times
There will be two matches a week. It will be at a different time than your usual Friday evenings as they will take place on Saturday evenings at 9:00PM and 10:00PM CEST. We hope that those new match times will fit better to your respective schedules.
Dates
The season will begin on Saturday, June 18, 2022 and will end on Saturday, August 6, 2022.
