Overall, the attendance wasn't too bad for this being new. 86% of registered players showed up and played, just unfortunately some hosts did not show up for Round 1. Will make sure to get a list of people who we trust a lot to host more upcoming events. That being said, the first MK8 (Wii U) FFA the community ran only had 78% attendance rate, so it's not a bad start. The goal is to get >95%, which is what our MK8D events are generally hitting now. The good news is that many people I think just made mistakes that won't be made as frequently in the future. For future reference, just make sure to show up to your rooms on time, and very importantly make sure you REACT to the MKTour tournaments messages on our Discord whenever a new tournament is announced, so you access the instant messaging channels regarding the tournaments. We'll try to make a tournament tutorial soon as well.
That being said, this is a pretty good turnout for the first MKT event on the site! Congrats to our podium spots, with レトルトカレー at 3rd, and some older community vets like Danny getting 2nd, and Kazuo for taking the prize and title. We hope to see you all again soon!
