Welcome to this 2v2 FFA tournament, run by New Leaf eSports and thankfully supported by MarioKartCentral. We're running this tournament both to celebrate an official launch of our brand and also of our website, which will be released on the day of the tournament! We hope that everyone enjoys checking it out, seeing the progress we've made and spreading the word for future events. We aim to host LAN events primarily in the UK, following on from Embrace the Change, our first tournament, that ran in early June this year. We also hope to occasionally run online tournaments such as this to commemorate important landmarks in our brands growth. Money we raise will be poured back into the tournaments we run, meaning bigger venues, better prizes and more pizza for everyone involved. We also aim to donate some profit to Mind UK, a charity supporting those who suffer from mental health conditions in the UK. This tournament will be organised entirely on Discord meaning that at least one player per team will need to join the New Leaf eSports server. We'll be giving out roles for the FFA to people who have signed up for the event. See you on the track!

h. If 3 or more players are missing from the results screen after a race, the race will not count and the room must be restarted.
i. If a player not intended to be in a room joins, any races played with that player will not count and the room must be restarted.

¡Vamos!

ESPORTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, it's really wonderful how the community is slowly evolving to become more than locking ourselves away in our rooms once a week for MKU. Maybe we'll eventually be taken seriously as a gaming community if we have more events like the SmashCon mini-tournament and EtC. It's taken years honestly and should have happened sooner, but the nature of the community really has halted progress.

Registration is open so if you'd like to enter for the opportunity to get some money off whatever game you're looking to get next on Switch, sign up.
