KART KLASH RACING SERIES

Kart Klash is a tournament series designed to mimic a professional racing series that is designed with two different formats for both casual and competitive players alike.

Kart Klash will be held in some capacity nearly every week, with prizes on the line. The Kart Klash official tournament will be capped at 60 players, with 40 to 45 players being “locked in” through purchasing a “tournament charter”. The current market rate for a tournament charter is $5 per calendar month, and once all charters are taken, players can bid on any open charter. A player who opts not to secure a tournament charter can race their way into the big show streamed LIVE on MarioKartCentral by qualifying their way in to the tournament. The Kart Klash Open (aka tournament mode) is open to all competitive and casual racers with up to 20 players from the tournament qualifying for the upcoming Kart Klash. This is a late night series, but it's designed to be fun, competitive, and played at your own pace! The Kart Klash Open and the Kart Klash will be alternating every Saturday (except on major holidays) in line with Grand Team Tournament, which will run prior to the Klash Open.

Rules and Registration will vary based on the event you participate in and will be made known on the official registration page for the said event. The Kart Klash signature FFA tournament is invite only and you must either qualify via purchasing a tournament charter or through a qualifying spot in the Kart Klash Open. The signature tournament will also follow the same rules and regulations as an MKC FFA, and banned or ineligible players will not be allowed to compete or secure a charter.

In partnership with Mario Kart Central, all players in the signature Kart Klash tournament (not the Klash Open) must be on the registry prior to the start of the event.

Any player is allowed to play in the Kart Klash Open, a generic tournament mode satellite format which is not officially sanctioned by MKC.

The top 40 players in points following the 4 day event will get a guaranteed spot in Kart Klash III on May 23rd and first dibs on guaranteed entry through our charter system for the June 2020 events!
