This post will explain how to post a result thread for any match, not limited to MKU. If you are the winning team or the host of a tied match, it is your responsibility to make the result thread. If you find yourself confused on how to do so, follow the steps below.
). First of all, you will have to create a table with the results of the match. You can check how to do it here.
.) Go to “Forums” on the Mario Kart Central webpage.
.) Scroll down to the “Mario Kart Universal” category and click on the current season's forum. In this example: “MKU Season 14”.
.) Once you’re on the forum list, click on the forum that has the name of your division. Example given: Your team is in Division 12, therefore you should click on “Division 12”.
.) Now that you are on the page of your division, you can post the result of your match here. Click the “Post thread” button, located in the top right, to create a new thread.
.) After clicking that, a page should pop up where you can construct the thread. This is where you will post the table of the results, along with the in-game screenshot and other information that is necessary for the division admin(s).
.) First, title the thread in the “Thread title” bar. What you type here will appear in the list of threads within the division. Construct the title as so: [Group letter, match number] Tag 1 (Score) - (Score) Tag 2.
.) Next, on the hotbar of options above where you construct the post, click on the “insert image” option (the singular picture icon) to insert the necessary images, like tables and screenshots. Clicking on that option will reveal a text field. From there, you need to paste the link of the image you want to insert.
.) As mentioned before, to have a complete result thread, you need the result in the form of a table, as well as the final in-game screenshot. Example:
.) In the case of any disconnections that occur during a match, make sure to add screenshots of any races where a player (or players) disconnect, like in the following example:
.) Make sure to always note who disconnected and when. Additionally, in the event a player misses any races, or does not play all of the races in a match, please mention the total number of races those players played. Example given: Player A plays 3 races and Player B plays 9. Write into the table: Player A (3)...Player B (9), or just explain it beneath the in-game screenshot(s), as such: “Player A played 3 races and Player B subbed in for the last 9 races”.
.) Going off of disconnections—assuming you were the hosting team, don’t forget to include a clip of any room crashes, if needed.
.) Double-check if anything is missing. Should you find that everything is accounted for on the thread, click on “Post thread”.
After that, you’re all set! It is highly encouraged to inform your division admin(s) that the result thread has been posted so they can check and make sure there aren’t any problems. If anything else is needed, your division admin(s) will let you know.

a. There are many ways you can copy/paste an image link, but the easiest way is to upload your image to Twitter or send it to a Discord server, and from there, right-click it, to then select “copy image link” (or similar). Paste the link into the text box and click “Insert. If you upload the images to Discord, note that deleting them can result in them disappearing on the forums.
