Hello, my name is GSCorinth7, and I would like to personally welcome you to this season’s in depth predictions! I’m going to pick and choose some divisions, so if the quality of your divisions description isn’t great, just know I’m writing this super late lol.
Also I’m kinda filling in for Teeples, he put 3x the effort I did in this one so mucho respecto to Teeps
Division 1
Conference A
World Friend Star (1)
xi (5)
Jean-Pierre Pernaut (6)
Dynamite Alpha (7)
Conference B
Requiem (2)
High Definition (3)
Arcadia Sky (4)
World Friend Moon (8)
Semi Finals:
World Friend Star 2 - 0 Arcadia Sky
Requiem 2 - 1 High Definition
Finals:
Requiem 2 - 1 World Friend Star
MVP: World Friend Star Roks
World Friend Star should be able to put the Conference away again. I don’t believe they will be given much of a challenge, as they have the strongest roster by a lot compared to this conference. In second I have xi, who went through a small death this offseason. This leads me to believe they will be much weaker, and considering sources say they will be a little bit inactive this season, I don’t see them doing much to chip away at World Friend Star. The addition of Kay helps a ton for this roster, however. In third I have Jean Pierre Pernaut. I do believe this is a stronger roster than last season, even though the only addition of importance is ScarTax. Their run in Agility was impressive, to almost beat Requiem is no easy feat. I think the synergy will only grow, and being in D1 for the second season in a row helps them. I think they give a real fight to xi. Lastly, I have Dynamite Alpha. I like this team a lot, however compared to the rest of the division it has zero Division 1 experience. In addition to having a really weak roster overall compared to the others, this team might be in for a rough one. This team should be able to grow as the season progresses, they may not be a playoff contender but there is heavy upside.
For Conference B, Requiem should quite easily put it away as well. They haven’t missed a step all offseason and seem to be roaring to break World Friend Star’s streak. Behind them, I have High Definition. Wf, HD, and Re; are going to be the best three teams by a lot, and I think HD is going to grow past where they were last season. With last season’s additions adjusting, I think HD is a real threat for the title as well. In third and making the playoffs I have Arcadia Sky. Of the weaker teams in the division, this team has the most experience. I think they will break their missing the playoffs streak this season. In last,I have World Friend Moon. This team is in the same boat as Dynamite, except it’s worse. Overall, the teams in their conference is stronger, and there just aren’t many wins I think that will be made available to them. This team is the reigning three time champion’s second team, I don’t think they will break easily in any match.
DIVISION 2
Conference A
Sadistisk obalans u-sväng långsam (5)
Banana Legion (1)
Inkling Feet (4)
Melodya Orphee (7)
Conference B
Star Clan Lotus (3)
Resemblance (2)
Mushroom Team Mind (6)
Midnight Wasps (8)
Semi Finals:
Banana Legion 1-2 Inkling Feet
Resemblance 2-0 Star Clan Lotus
Finals:
Resemblance 2-1 Inkling Feet
MVP: Inkling Feet Roberto
Ok, just to start, this division is going to be close as ever. Division 2 has been historically close, and this season Dynamite Alpha isn’t there to be that one team that consistently makes finals. This division, it is anyone’s ballgame.
In first I have Banana Legion. They seem to be much stronger this season, and after being beat down a little last season, they will come back and destroy their conference. I don’t think this will last in the playoffs however, this means the second team in the division, Inkling Feet, will win in the playoffs. This team seems serious this season, and they seem ready to run through a wall. I think they will go through some growing pains in the regular season, but they break through in the playoffs. Next, I have Soul. While they are still the same team, I think they will have a down season. In last I have Melodya Orphee. The players on this roster are incredibly strong. However, Demon’s lack of availability last season was quite concerning. Still, I think this team grows as the season goes on.
In conference B I have Resemblance winning. They haven’t stopped winning after destroying division 3 last season, and I don’t think it will stop. Behind them, I have Star Clan Lotus. On paper, this team is cracked. They would win the division if there wasn’t questions about the quality of call. This team will be very annoying to play, and this team will win a lot of matches, I just don’t think they will be clutch in playoffs. Next, I have Mushroom Team Mind. This team had a very quiet offseason, it lost a lot of pieces. However, this team will still contend and they won’t shit the bed. In last, I have Midnight Wasps. This roster in comparison to they others is incredibly weak. However, this team under Felix never quits, and they will grow as the season goes on. I don’t think they will steal 7th, but they will put up a lot of close games.
DIVISION 3
Conference A
Drift Riders (4)
Zodiacs (7)
Tuestame la Tostada (6)
Star Clan Solar (1)
Conference B
Fatal Aces (3)
Jean-Pierre Papin (8)
Team Rocket eSports (2)
eXodus 1 (5)
Semi Finals:
Star Clan Solar 2-0 Drift Riders
Team Rocket eSports 2-1 Fatal Aces
Finals:
Star Clan Solar 1-2 Team Rocket eSports
MVP: FA starxlx
For Conference A, I have Star Clan Solar winning. I heard an interesting take from an anonymous source that they thought Star Clan Solar would be better than Star Clan Lotus. This is because Star Clan 2 could possibly have a quite decent call, but I’m not sure. I’ve seen their results though, and they look quite good. In second I have Drift Riders. They seem to be steadily in Division 3 or so, and I see them more or less go in the middle of the pack. Next I have TT. I don’t want to spell it sorry, lol. This team is really solid, I think they will continue to improve compared to these other teams. Last, I have Zodiacs. I love this team, but their results have not looked great since losing Italic. I wish them the best of luck.
Fo conference B, I have Team Rocket. This team is really funny to me, you can seriously never count this team out. If there was one underdog team I would never count out, it’s TR. With the latest additions, I think they dominate their win their conference and run through the playoffs with a win.In second I have Fatal Aces. This team is very strong, and they seem to have been grinding. I think they go above expectations and get the 1st wild card. eXodus is directly behind, barely miss the playoffs. With the addition of Kayne, this team is really cracked. They will do well, but I think they will have to wait until next season for D3 playoffs. In last is JPP2. The team will keep games close, but this conference is incredibly strong. I don’t know much about JPP2, but I know they usually will stay competitive.
DIVISION 4
Conference A
Yoshi Family Galaxy (1)
Sweatyzard X (7)
Dynamite Omega (5)
Mushroom Team Soul (3)
Conference B
Wii Elite Clan Gold (2)
Rainbow Fun Ruby (8)
Difference (6)
Pirate Hackers (4)
Semi Finals:
Yoshi Family Galaxy 2-0 Pirate Hackers
Wii Elite Clan Gold 2-0 Mushroom Team Soul
Finals:
Wii Elite Clan 0-2 Yoshi Family
MVP: Ph Darky
This division is really odd. I think the best teams are significantly better than the worse teams. We will see, though.
In first in Conference A I have Yoshi Family Galaxy This roster is much stronger and experienced than all of the other rosters. YF is a clan that either destroys a division, or tanks. This team I think goes 9-1 and 4-0 in the playoffs. In second, I have MT Soul. Once again, I don’t know much about MT, but this team was in the playoffs last season in Division 4, and with a weaker D4, I think their roster will produce the same results without the players that went to the 1st team. Third is Dynamite Omega. This team seems incredibly strong with Pianist in front. I think, in DY2 fashion, they barely miss the playoffs sadly. It will be an incredibly close fight with Ph, though. In last, I have Sweatyzard X. While it is a good team, it just feels so overseeded to me. They will win a few games, but I think the majority of matches they will get beat down.
In Conference B I have WEC1 winning. It’s the strongest and most experienced roster here, but I don’t think it comes close to YF’s talent. Losing Seb also hurts WEC. In 2nd, I have Pirate Hackers. I think they would’ve found a way to win D5, just like they won D7 and D6 last seasons. This team keeps proving they are underseeded, and I think they will finally be met with a super strong opposition. Being in the weaker conference, they take the 2nd wild card spot. Next I have difference, which I saw as a D5 team to be honest. I don’t know what to think of them, but they seem to be experienced still. This is the wildcard team of the division, they could be a ringer or they shit the bed. In last I have Rainbow Fun Ruby. This team just isn’t all that great for Division 4. Going up 2 divisions was too much in my opinion. We will see though, all of these teams have upside and I’d like to see someone go over expectations.
DIVISION 5
Conference A
Rozando la Kalamidad (5)
Higher Octave (2)
Version 2 (4)
Greed Island (8)
Conference B
Fenix Y (1)
Arcadia Terra (3)
Afterdark (7)
Noob Reborn (6)
Semifinals:
Fenix Y 2-0 Version 2
Higher Octave 1-2 Arcadia Terra
Finals:
Fenix Y 2-1 Arcadia Terra
MVP: X Enger
In Conference A I have Higher Octave winning. While they did lose a ton of pieces (Davis, Joshua, Ginja, Harry, and Myself) They will still do really well in a weak conference. Right behind them is Version 2. It’s the same roster that Higher Octave beat in the playoffs 2 seasons ago, plus Anthony. Each of these matches with 8va will be thrillers, and V2 will take the 2nd wildcard. Behind them is RK2. This is the scary team of the conference, but I think both 8va and V2 will be too much for them. Lastly, I have Greed Island. I hope this team gets a win, because I think they will struggle to get wins. They lost Haru, who was one of their best players. They also didn’t do amazing last season in D6. I don’t think anyone in their conference will give them a chance to win, all three are too consistently good.
In Conference B, Fenix and Arcadia will have the most wins in the entire division. Fenix is a really really good team, Enger Pana Rolex Sergio Flaps Claw is really scary. Arcadia will be right behind them, this is a completely different team than last few seasons, and I think the players playing mku this season will be very eager to get some wins under their belt. NRB will be in third, It’s basically them same roster as last season. I don’t think Fenix or Arcadia will allow them to win. Same goes for AfterDark, who look very different this season. Without Spesh, they don’t seem like they will compete in this division. However, with Aidan unbanned, I think they will give teams a fight.
DIVISION 6
Conference A
Nferno
Noir
Battle Brigade
Arcanum Eternal
Conference B
Princess Monarchy
Melodya Eurydice
Dark Souls Team
Kira Team
Since this is my division, I won’t give a prediction. All I can say is Good luck.
DIVISION 7
Conference A
Yoshi Family Odyssey (1)
Kartvengers Team Alpha (3)
Tuestame la Tostada Emblem (8)
Siege (5)
Conference B
American Gunslingers (4)
Fatal Anchors (2)
Kartnita Asada (6)
Alliance Rainbow (7)
Semifinals:
Yoshi Family Odyssey 2-0 American Gunslingers
Fatal Anchors 2-1 Kartvengers Alpha
Finals:
Yoshi Family Odyssey 1-2 Fatal Anchors
MVP: AGs Acid
This division is a really competitive one. It also looks really dramatic. There are a ton of fun teams here, I can see a lot of bad blood.
In conference A, Yoshi Family destroys the regular season. I think YF2 does the same thing they did S10, Play really good mariokart until they play finals. This team is the best here assuming Damon and Custa play. Behind them, I have Kartvengers Alpha. This team is good, and no one should be underestimating them. This team is scary and they will put up a hard fight. Behind them is Siege, which is a mixed bag. Their players are all over the place as far as talent and personality goes, I just hope they have fun. In last I have TT2. From my understanding, it inherited a lot of Final Emblem players. I think this division is really tough for them in a really tough conference, but they won’t go down without a fight.
In conference B, I have Fatal Anchors winning it all. This team is really good, there was a reason they destroyed D8 last season. They are underseeded, but I think they will suffer a few losses that will give them the two seed. Behind them is American Gunslingers, led by Gucci Acid and Quan4sho. After bombing last season, these additions should give them enough confidence to do well in the regular season. Behind them is the most annoying team of them all, we have Kartnita Asada. They are missing Kevo, who was the world to them. For some reason though, I don’t see Kartnita Asada being nerfed too much. They are like an anime where the protagonist cuts off the enemy’s head, only to reveal they can fight without their head. They will give each match a fight. In last is Alliance Rainbow. Play is an incredible player, and I’m really excited to see him lead a roster that I know absolutely nothing about. Good luck, bros.
At this point I’ve been writing for two hours and twenty four minutes. Considering Division 8 has already played two matches, from here on out I’m just going to leave out explanations. Sorry guys.
