Hey there! Welcome to the community, I hope you'll find it enjoyable here!
The best way to get involved is to join the MKC Discord server and get to know some of the other players here. There are players and teams from all over the world, so once you've established what your best availability/timezone is and what division you fit into you can approach the 'looking for team' channel on the server and make a post!
Since you're new to MK you might be best off seeking a team in the low division range (D10 probably!) This can help get you acquainted with what it means to play as a member of a team and to learn the basics of track selection based on spots, track acronyms (dRiR, dNBC, etc) and all the other intricacies that come with going from an FFA environment to a team based one!
The learning curve can be steep, but don't be discouraged. There are many people here that will be happy to help you get familiar with everything!
