Not Getting Seeded Into Correct WWs

So I've been having this issue where I go into a random WW race and for some reason the game puts me into sub-10k rooms (ranging from 5k-9k). Keep in mind I have 16k VR so this makes absolutely no sense.

Does anyone know why this happens?

Ye same happens to me and im on 22k, may as well be in a regional
