Hi, my son is obsessed with Mario Kart and airplanes. How does he select the playable yellow airplane character (from Super Cup)? He has Mario Kart Deluxe 8 cartridge on Switch. Does he need the downloaded latest software game? There are youtube videos showing the airplane being selected but I am not able to do this for him. Help!

If this is what you're talking about, it's not native to MK8D itself. It's a mod that you have to download from a 3rd party and install to your switch.
