I'm sure you've noticed a couple things. First, both divisions no longer utilize the theme of the bullet bill and golden mushroom. We figured that since we've used both for a very long time, we felt that it would be nice to make a change. Keep in mind that we're always willing to take suggestions, so if you think you have any good ideas, feel free to let us know for future reference.

Another thing to note is that both divisions will now have two division admins rather than one. We feel that this will be much more efficient in the long run, plus we'd like to give all of our staff a chance to do something. Make sure to familiarize yourself with both of your division admins so that you can speak with them in case anything comes up during the season.

Now moving onto other matters...

Introducing: The All-Star Match

This is an idea we thought we'd experiment with this season, since we think it could work very well for 200L and be a nice, fun way to end. The general idea of the all-star match is quite simple. On Week 11, one week after the season is over, we plan to host an all-star game with 12 selected players from Division 1.

For how the players are chosen, the community will vote for all of the starters from each team, while team representatives will vote for the reserves. For the starters, we plan to open an all-star ballot around Week 9 where players can be voted in. To be listed on the ballot, you must have played at least 4 matches by Week 9. The ballot will be open from the Monday after Week 9 to the Tuesday after Week 10.

As for reserves, each team representative is allowed to vote for 2 players on each team and in all, the top 4 players who are voted for the most will be marked as the reserves. Team representatives will not be allowed to vote for players on their own team, which will hopefully allow for very interesting rosters.

Once all twelve players are put together, it allows for the possibility of two teams, which will then be drafted by both players of the winning team of their respective division. For example, in the case of Prestissimo Brigade winning Division 1, if Elmer and Varo happened to be the selected players, it would be both of them who draft their players for the team. Both of them would get to pick five starters which obviously equates to two teams of six. They would also both pick two reserves, which mainly serve the role as subs in case the starters are unable to participate on the day of the match. Unless there is a remaining spot in the line-up, the reserves will not be able play.

Once all of the organization is out of the way after Week 10, the match will take place the following weekend. Please keep in mind that if you happen to be chosen for this match and you are unable to participate, notify staff immediately once you get the chance.

That is all for now, but make sure to stay tuned for even more announcements moving forward - we have many plans and are hoping to do a lot more for the 200cc community moving forward. Have a good one, take care, and stay safe!
