Staff Additions
MKCentral Staff
First off, we’d like to welcome @Sketch to the staff team. We want to thank everyone who applied for site staff and we will be keeping a close eye on future applications as they come in. Additionally, the MKCentral staff have also selected a few people to interview and those selected will be notified and will start the interview process in the upcoming days.
Media Staff
As you may have seen already, MKCentral has already started to do live casts on events, which are being broadcasted live here. Casts will be more frequent than they were in the past, and we will be focused on delivering casts for most major site tournaments. If you have any questions relating to Media Staff, look for the people with a gold name and banner on the site or on the MKC Discord. As well, you can see our current media team here. There may be more to come, but new additions will be carefully selected.

Event Organizers
Event Organizers will be the group in charge for hosting site run tournaments, like the FFA’s that were ran the past. However, their job will also extend to creating and hosting new events in the future, like the Solo Circuit coming in 2019. If you have any questions about events, look for people with a purple name and banner on the site or MKC Discord. For now the group will stay at 7, but there's a possibility of more being added soon.

Upcoming Events
The next site ran tournament will be hosted on Saturday, September 22nd. We aren’t sure what it will be just yet, but stay tuned for future announcements regarding this event and ones like it in the future.
Registry Updates
The notification system on the registry has been updated! Now, when you receive a notification, a number along with a change in bell colour will appear in the top right of your screen. Keep in mind you actually have to be on the registry for the notifications to appear, not the forums.

We'd like to end by saying thank you again to all who applied for every role - there were a lot of great applicants that didn't get selected this time, but if anything this is probably a good thing. We encourage you to apply for future stuff even if you weren't selected this time, because you may very well be selected then. Expect more updates soon!
