Track picks in LANs?

Good afternoon!

I've never really given this much thought before as most of my experience is in 6v6, but now that SNS started allowing track picks in semis and grands, I feel like this is starting to become important. How do y'all handle track picks in FFA tournaments? Do you pick your best track right at the start and show your hand right away or do you purposefully pick tracks you dislike? Do you pick tracks that benefit your spot? I'm curious to hear your thoughts!

there are many options that go into account.
for example if i am starting in 1st i would pick a frontrun heavy track, like wario stadium or mount wario.
if i was in a drafting position (2-4) I would pick a track where its very easy to get a draft into the front, like shroom ridge, squeaky clean sprint, or dolphin shoals.
for other positions i would personally pick tracks with big shortcuts like Waluigi Stadium, DK Summit, Rome avanti etc.
But dont be limited to those. Pick tracks that you yourself are good at and have confidence in your driving abilities in
