I decided to write up a guide on drifting mechanics as I felt I hadn't seen any good tutorials out there that explain it well.

Many of the details mentioned in this guide are based on research done by whoami who set up a device that lets you input custom joystick angles and then seeing if he was able to get the soft drift or not.
