RaR is from MKSC, not SMK. Personally I've never used it, but there's a valid argument: MK64 did not keep RR while making Royal Raceway RRy as it is. It also made Rainbow Road RRd. And so following that pattern it is 100% fair to make GBA Rainbow Road "RaR" while Ribbon Road is "RiR"...
