The MKCentral registry will be used as a universal registry for all leagues, tournaments, and other events hosted on MKCentral including MKU and Amplify.
Signing Up
In order to get started on the registry you must first register to the MKCentral forum by clicking here:
Once you are registered for the forum you are ready to sign up on the registry. When you first visit the registry of MKCentral you will have to sign up for a registry account before you can create or join any teams. Your account on the registry will be directly linked to your forum account. You can sign up on the registry by clicking here:
Be sure to include your Country, Discord tag and Switch Friend Code as they are all required fields of information.
Once you are registered to the MKCentral registry you are ready to create and join teams.
Creating a Team
On the teams page of the registry you will find a "Create New Team" button above all of the registered teams:
When creating a team you must include a team name and tag. Team owners have the option to include a team logo and team description. Once you click save on your teams information you will be brought to your teams page and must wait until a moderator approves your team.
Because you can only create and be in one team, leaders are unable to create two teams in cases of teams having multiple league rosters. For example, if Aurora had two teams then shiiguy would create one of the teams and then he would appoint another leader or representative to create and lead the other team.
Joining a Team
In order to join a team the leader of the team must send you an invite. To invite a player to your team you must go to the players section of the registry:
Once you are on the players section of the registry it will show a list of all registered players. Once you find a player on your team you must click on their name to visit their profile and press the "Invite to Team" button at the top of their profile:
You will then be brought to a page that displays all outgoing invitations to your team:
The player(s) you invited will then see a notification in the top right on the bell to let them know they have an invitation:
The player must click on the checkmark to accept the invite, or the "X" to decline the invite:
In cases of transfers from one team to another it must go through mod approval before the transfer is completely processed:
If you are accepting an invite for the very first time and have no team history on the registry then the action of accepting the invite is all that is needed to join the team.
Managing a Team/Profile
To edit your team you must go to your team page and click on the "Edit Team" option displayed above your team information:
From here you can change your team logo, leaders, recruitment status, and team description. Any changes to your teams name or tag must be changed by a moderator. You can find and contact a moderator using this thread in order to make changes to your teams name or tag.
To edit your profile you must click on "Edit Profile" in the top right and you can edit your Discord tag and profile message. To change your name, country, or friend code you must contact a moderator to change it for you. You can find and contact a moderator using this thread.
