Hello, everyone! Below are the preliminary seedings for Season 23. This season, we ended up with 21 divisions! Thank you to every team that ended up registering this season. Whether you are a newer team or one that has been around for a while, we want to thank you all for registering, as this obviously would not be possible without you!

As always, these seedings are not final and are subject to change based on information we receive over the next week or so. Teams are alphabetically listed in their respective conferences under each division, with the tentative division admin(s) being included as well.

Given the shifts that have occurred all throughout the league, you may notice that your team has ended up in a division you were not expecting (even if you previously won a division). As always, with the abundance of newer and returning teams that are eligible for the season — along with player transfers and other factors — the placement of other teams is naturally affected. Please keep this in mind before reviewing the seedings.

Additionally, this thread should only be used for discussing your own team's placement. If you feel your team has been displaced, either because you were put in a division too high or a division too low, you should address it here. All requests should be detailed, including thorough explanations with convincing proof, which can range from war results with 6/6 eligible players, placements in recent tournaments, and anything else you or your team deem to be relevant.

All teams will have until Wednesday, January 17, at 23:59:59 UTC (7:59 PM ET, 1:59 CET) to present their cases to be promoted or demoted on this thread. This may be subject to change depending on the number of cases we receive, so we encourage you to present your argument sooner rather than later in case the deadline changes.

Hola, considero que ubicaron a Pitsy Army en una división mas alta de la que estamos acostumbrados a jugar, el equipo no es el mismo de la temporada pasada, entraron jugadores con poca experiencia y los que son considerados como la alineacion mas fuerte no han jugado con la misma frecuencia, así que deseamos revisar la posibilidad de que nos bajen 1 o 2 divisiones además de que estamos en su mayoría con equipos de otro continente y eso dificulta mas las cosas... Hello, we Clan't feel that this season we were overseeded, last season we took a break and we just came back. In S22 we were in the final in D15 but we lost half of the main line up and we didn't recruit any player that strong for S23, we basically have new people and peeps from lower divisions.
We have been playing against teams in lower divisions and we're struggling as you can see in the following tables.
We feel that a couple of divisions lower would be a better fit for us and we would have a chance to do a good performance. Last table is with an ally, as you can see not even with a high player we can beat lower divisions teams.

Hello, we believe Liberty is seeded very high for our currently level, without Ktpg and Viny (both were main lineup when we played Division 8) we're having a lot of trouble to play against teams around Division 8, we believe Division 9 should fit much better for our currently level from our main lineup, here are some tables:

- Liberty's currently main lineup is: Royal, Raised, Ponce, JM, Taty, Apache/Guigas/Juankzer (1 from these 3 players)​

Ly 5/6 main lu vs βк (D9) maybe 4/6 main lu (I couldn't figure out who were the other players but I believe they had 2 allies from lower divisions, it was a -104 without their repick. But there was no Star Platinum from their side)

Ly 6/6 main lu vs ™ (D8) maybe 4/6 main lu (It would be Apache or Juankzer over Viny here) (There was no Capn from their side too)

Ly 6/6 main lu vs BUZ (D9) 5/6 main lu (Taty over Viny)

This table is old but that's all we have vs Cy (D9) and it's from a tournament, I believe this Cy lineup isn't even close to their top lineup (maybe 2/6 or 3/6) and Liberty had Iori (main lineup in Team Brasil with 109,7 avg last MKU season in D11) and Viny playing for us. So this table's lineup is much better than our currently main lu

Hey, we (GenerationX) believe that we have been overseeded quite a bit. We shouldn't be placed at D8 level and should be somewhere between D12-D15. We had 2 teams last season (GenX d6) (GenZ d18) but for this season, we have become one team again and most of our roster this season are from GenZ. Hence why we believe we shouldn't be placed as high. I will attach some tables below.

Good night, as a captain of Jet Joker we believe that our 4th roster (JetJoker Merekes) has been underseeded, especially based on their recent results in scrims and their solid performance in Frontier.

First of all, we added three solid players in Edu (former KT player), Kenshi (former BW player) and Denis (former Race in the Sky, seeded in d12 this season).

However, Kenshi will most likely not be available throughout the season, so we expect Denis and Edu to pick up the pace soon and start warring with us more and more.

Our main LU (or the core we play around mostly), in order to measure these tables relevance, would be something like:
Aleformula-Pxxblo-Korni-Timo-Vladi
The last player is most likely gonna be rotated between Luisvo, Edu, Denis or Kitus

First round of the tournament vs RAT (-72), they are seeded in d7 but we know it's not their best main, still a good result though

Iron Bracket:

Tie in the first 12 races against Los Materos (seeded in d11, we don't think this is their main anyways), lost in the 4 tie break race.

Win against Race in the Stars (seeded d18)

Win vs WEC Silver (seeded d14). Don't know if their lineup was actually good tho.

Lose vs Turbo Diesel after a very close war (seeded d13)

They had 3 players from the first roster (seeded d8) and other 2 from the second team (seeded d19). We also had Jn as a trial.

Flags are actually wrong (they are french lol) but we got a solid win here.

With all of these tables being sent, we'd like to ask to move up 1, or at maximum 2 divisions, as we feel that the team could compete in both D17 and D18, but their lack of experience would make them suffer in D16 and above. It's also notable how the results have been becoming better against better teams aswell, showing how the team is doing some progress and deserves a higher division.

Hola y buenas. Soy Yuki, el líder de Inka Warriors Hurin. Escribo este mensaje para apelar por un puesto en la división 12 (una debajo de la que estamos actualmente), pues tenemos razones que nos hacen creer que fuimos sembrados por encima de las capacidades de nuestro equipo. Estas son los argumentos:

1. Transferencias.

Esta vez pudimos reclutar a más personas en comparación con la temporada pasada, agregamos a Viclian, Paolo, Genemon (Mikey en MKC) y el regreso de Koda a nuestras filas. Sin embargo, a pesar de todas las incorporaciones, también tuvimos dos pérdidas muy importantes, Arewau y Luu (opt-out para este torneo), titulares indiscutibles para nuestro equipo y jugadores que habían estado con nosotros desde hace varios meses atrás. Tenemos la impresión de que nuestro roster es igual de fuerte o ligeramente más débil que el pasado, pues a pesar de que Koda sea alguien sumamente determinante, ¿realmente tiene las capacidades para suplir las pérdidas de este equipo? No estoy completamente de acuerdo, no por él precisamente, sino porque el resto de los candidatos para jugar MKU (excluyendo a los titulares del torneo pasado) aún no poseen la experiencia suficiente para complementar los resultados que él puede proveernos. En resumen, no pueden esperar que un equipo con dos jugadores que se hacen 110 y 65-75 puntos por war rinda de la misma forma que uno con dos jugadores que podían conseguir entre 85 y 100, mucho menos que lo haga mejor. Siguiendo el mismo orden de ideas, ¿este roster realmente amerita que subamos de división? No estaría muy seguro.

2. Alineación titular.

A continuación, les adjunto una tabla que muestra la media de puntos obtenidos y rayos sacados por cada uno de los miembros de nuestro equipo, abarcando todas las wars amistosas que jugamos desde el día que concluyó la MKU pasada (15 de octubre) hasta el día de hoy. 66 en total.

Como siempre, si necesitan corroborar esta información o les gustaría checar la versión desglosada, no duden enviarle un DM a cualquiera de los líderes y les responderemos.

Es lógico que utilizaremos a las personas que fueron capaces de obtener un avg. de 100 o mejor. Sin embargo, podrán notar que a partir de ahí, la mayoría posee un avg. que ronda entre los 60 y 70 puntos, por lo que pensamos que no habría una diferencia muy importante entre alinear a Ale/Carlos, Jar/Viclian, Genemon/Xndrest y todas las combinaciones posibles. Naturalmente, alinearemos a aquellos que hayan jugado más o que sus aportaciones como baggers sean mejores compárandolas con sus indivs. Esto daría como resultado, una alineación titular con Koda, Yuki. (“ny .” anteriormente), Lucas/Diego, Ale, Carlos +1 (Jar/Genemon/Xndrest).

Ahora, ¿por qué 9 y no 6? Como lo mencionamos en el pasado, IW siempre ha tenido problemas para consolidar una alineación consistente para la MKU. La temporada pasada, Diego únicamente pudo participar en 4 wars de la jornada regular y 2 de los playoffs, mientras que Lucas sólo jugó 2 (adjunto la tabla).

Tenemos la expectativa de que se repita la misma tendencia, por lo que es altamente probable que vean jugar a más de seis jugadores a lo largo de todo el evento. Sin estas personas el nivel de nuestra alineación decrecería muchísimo, pero queremos arriesgarnos e incluirlos en lugar de ponerlos en opt-out y jugar en una división aún más baja porque confiamos en nuestros sustitutos y nos parece muy utópico esperar que su participación en alguno de los encuentros implique una “win condition”, especialmente porque en el pasado tampoco fue así.

3. Desempeño en torneos oficiales.

El en caso de la LDC y el Frontier no tuvimos la oportunidad de demostrar todo el potencial de nuestro equipo. Por lo que no tiene mucho sentido escribir sobre eso.

Para la MKU, creemos que nuestro desempeño tampoco fue algo de otro mundo, pues nuestro paso a los playoffs implicó un conjunto de situaciones excepcionales que simplemente nos favorecieron y no a otros equipos que tenían más posibilidades de avanzar o que eran potenciales favoritos para ganar la división.

Kartvengers Team Alpha y Rapides et Furieux otorgaron una cantidad importante de victorias a todos los equipos y con la salida del torneo por parte de Crash Maniacs 2 (quienes nos ganaron en ambos encuentros) en la última jornada, el último cupo de los playoffs se definió entre Omelette du Fromage y nosotros, resultando en un 5-5 para ambos y haciéndonos pasar por un criterio de desempate. Además de eso, durante todo el evento, no pudimos derrotar a RS o a nx (estos no le otorgaron ni una sola victoria a nuestra conferencia) ni una sola vez, quienes resultaron en los finalistas de la división.

4. Wars amistosas.

Finalmente, les comparto algunos de los resultados que obtuvimos al enfrentarnos contra clanes que actualmente están sembrados en división 11, 12 y 13. Aclaramos que, al usar estas tablas, lo hacemos sin alguna intención de perjudicar a cualquiera de los involucrados y sólo con la finalidad de tener un torneo más justo para todos, agradecemos a los equipos que se prestaron para jugar contra nosotros y esperamos que tengan éxito en sus respectivos encuentros.

- Vs. Kartvengers Team (div. 13). +30

Una war con muchos tops fuertes, nos garantizaron que usarían una alineación titular por lo que nosotros también optamos por lo mismo. No incluimos a Diego pero igual es una alineación que es viable para nosotros en la MKU al tener a 6 titulares, es probable que con su participación hubiésemos obtenido un mejor resultado, pero sigue siendo bastante cerrado tomando en cuenta que supuestamente están dos divisiones por debajo de nosotros.

Nos acercamos a ellos porque estaban buscando war en un rango relativamente alto para la división en la que actualmente están. Por lo que nos dió la impresión de que tenían una alineación muy buena. Aquí usamos 4 titulares y tuvimos un resultado muy parecido como con K.

Jugamos sin Yuki. pero utilizamos a 4 titulares (Koda, Diego, Ale y Jar) contra una alineación que creemos que es una de las mas fuertes de DPK. No pudimos identificar a “Dae” pero tenemos la impresión de que cuentan con jugadores de sobra para sustituirle igualmente. Una victoria moderada.

Aquí jugamos con 5 titulares (Koda, Lucas, Yuki, Carlos y Ale) contra una alineación rival donde hay varios jugadores que han jugado la MKU con ese equipo antes. Fue un encuentro donde se cerró mucho gracias a una dc que nos favoreció.

Jugamos sin Diego pero incluimos a 4 titulares, Yuki. Koda y Lucas entre ellos, por lo que es una alineación que podríamos usar en MKU fácilmente. Ambos lados jugaron ese encuentro teniendo en mente que utilizarían alineaciones muy fuertes, por lo que creemos que es una de las mejores que ellos pueden ofrecer.

Añadido a esto, tenemos otra tabla donde usamos 4 titulares y también nos ganan de forma contundente. No fue nuestra primera opción porque no es tan reciente, pero la adjuntamos porque igual sirve.
