[MKU-DX] Season 18 Preliminary Seedings

To preface, as usual, these seedings are not final and are subject to change based on the info we receive over the next week or so. As we've done in previous seasons, each division will list teams in their respective conferences alphabetically, along with their tentative division admins.

Before actually getting into the seedings, we'd like to note a few things:

First, as originally stated on the Season 18 confirmation thread, we will be giving more time for teams to contest their seed this season. This was highly requested after Season 17, and we feel it is fair. Additionally, the extension of this period grants more time to set up scrimmages (and even Best-of-3s if teams desire) to build a case proving that they should go up or down a division.

Secondly, we feel it is important to clarify that, with the shifts that have occurred all throughout the league, you may end up in a division you are not expecting (even if you previously won a division). As always, with the number of new teams that have been created, along with player transfers and other factors, it naturally affects the placement of other teams. Please keep this in mind before reviewing the seedings.

Finally, as we always emphasize, this thread should only be used for discussing your own team's placement. If you feel your team has been displaced, either because you were put in a division too high or a division too low, you should address it here. All requests should be detailed, including thorough explanations with convincing proof, which can range from war results without allies (preferably no earlier than May), placements in recent tournaments, and anything else you deem to be relevant.

All teams will have until Wednesday, June 22 at 23:59:59 UTC to present their case. Please note that cases will only be considered if they are posted on this thread; messaging a staff member about your placement will not do anything. Additionally, if you are not here to argue for your team, or you make a post that holds no pertinence, you will be thread banned.

Hi there!

Revival Elite would like to request to be moved down to Division 12. We feel as though our main lineup will be unable to compete in Division 11.

We played many of these teams last season of MKU and went 1-1-8 with a very similar roster (outside of 2 new additions)

We've also recenly played Neko Knights with one of our better lineups and lost as evidenced here:

If staff believe that we are a better suit for D11 then we'll stay there, however we do believe D12 is a better fit for us and would like to moved if possible.


Revival Supreme are happy being in D16, no concerns from team 2.

If any D4 teams are wanting to trade up with us in D3, feel free to take our position. We'll try our best wherever we end up but as of right now I don't think we're ready for that yet. This is mainly because a few of our older veteran players are there for insurance over anything else, and we'll be playing with a few people learning the game. We've played a few D3-D4 teams already and it's been rough up to this point, though we're expecting to learn and get a bit stronger before the season. Right now it may be pretty tough though

Hey, I'm the Leader of ColorSquad and after we got seeded in Division 9, we want to request an upseed into Division 8. After our Line up changed a lot in the past, we think we are underseeded and I brought some tables, where we think that they proof that we have to get an upseed, with me.
Sadly we werent able to play any matches with 6/6 of Top LU yet but i think this Tables are still good to go.

LBDB wants to be put at least 2 Divisions lower (Div 15).
We expected D13 teams to be near unbeatable even with our best lineups, so we organized scrims against them the last 2 days.

As you can see we stood no chance even with our main lineup, hence why we want to be put down to D15 if possible. We don't want to demotivate our players by competing against teams that are unbeatable for our skill level. We don't really understand why we were put in D13 in the first place, we won D18 last season and got 2 players and that's it. In direct comparison, Team Upload were also D18 last season and even beat us and they are in D15 now. Hope something can be adjusted in our favour because we don't want to compete under these circumstances.

We know that it does not influence MKU but it did influence the competitive level in the clan, example:
you won't put a GrandMaster in D20 or Iron in D1 but at least it's understandable but our new players are: Ciibex, daisydrift,ashanti,Fede Was and that's it
we are bronze and iron and few silver

Hola que tal buena tarde soy el líder de Team No Mola. Quiero comentar que no estamos de acuerdo con correr la división 19, ya que creemos seria algo dura para nosotros, la mayoría de los miembros tenemos poca experiencia y tomamos esto solo por diversión. Sabemos que contamos con un miembro con mas experticia que es PIU, pero creo que ni eso ayuda a compensar la habilidad del resto de los miembros, por lo cual solicito que se nos pueda mantener en la división 20 para poder pasarla bien y no sea un sufrimiento tener que correr cada domingo. Lo cual podría hacer que los miembros se desanimaran y no poder reunir los necesarios para poder correr. Espero nos tomen en cuenta.
